It’s their system, they can bypass my online subscription and charge what they like but not a hope in hell am I paying it. It’s so scummy to have the online classics release so slowly while doing this kind of thing. Pirates had a better setup to play GBA games literally 20+ years ago. Sigh.

@metaphysician Very true that stock price can be "pumped" with short term gain/long term pain measures that do not reflect true improvement in the business... but not possible to do that to 10x value. For the stock to reach 10x value it'd have to be based on miraculously massive real improvements.

It won't happen cos it's a crazy goal, but if he somehow created 90+ billion in value for the company I can see why the company would pay him 35 billion. They'd still be 55+ billion better off!

If he can make the company more than ten times as valuable while it's core business continues to be eaten by digital storefronts, then I'd say he'd earn his pay.
