Re: Accusations of Plagiarism Directed at Popular Super Mario Maker Level Creator

@Ryu_Nilyama well, this doesn't make it any more right to plagiarise something just because it is not protected by law. I mean, it's like someone steals your idea at work and gets a promotion instead of you. Law doesn't protect that either. Just because Mario Maker levels don't involve money it doesn't make it right to copy a person's work. A person who becomes popular by copying people's levels may as well be the guy who steals your ideas and gets the promotion you deserved.

Nintendo would actually need some kind of algorithm to identify level similarities and stuff. While it is "possible", I hardly believe Nintendo would ever care. Not that I don't. I believe all the stars should be going to the original maker, once a level has undergone plagiarism. Not that you can't do it, but you won't be getting stars. I'd love to see Nintendo prove me wrong and actually CARE for something.

As a fellow maker, I reckon this probably took a very long time to make, and the idea is really awesome. There were a few things I didn't like, though. There are a few places where you can get into, but not out. Take as an example the very first goomba pipe. There is a way for you to drop through the flames unharmed, but you will only fall onto spikes with no way back. I don't think this was meant to be a troll trap (great job if it was, though). I dropped in hopes of finding any hidden something. A way back would be much appreciated. Also, the way you made it possible for people to drop from halfway past the stage back to the beginning is kind of bad. Wouldn't be so bad if there was a quick way back (say, once you got up there you unlocked a way to quickly travel between top and bottom). And finally, I found a hidden P-switch by the end of the stage which just made my boss fight a ton easier. Not sure I like it, lol. I finished without pressing the switch. But hey, despite all this stuff, it is really a pretty darn good level. You sir made me go back to SMRPG. That was awesome, indeed. Great job!
