Re: 3DS System Update 11.10.0-43 Is Now Live

I still play mine everyday when I can. Still use streetpass and as I work at an airport I get the odd hit and a few when schools are off. Shame as its such a portable system but it's not dead yet so lets enjoy while it's still here. No interest in the switch until it gets hard disc support. I have other systems I play at home like xbox and PS but the 3ds gets 95 percent of my gaming time. I will blub when the eshop for this gets shut down or streetpass servers get shut off. I would even pay a yearly fee for my 3ds to keep things up and running as i pay for xbox and ps yearly. I really have no interest in the switch..... Coz is not portable like the 3ds is. I still have wii u but mistakenly got rid of the wii.

Re: Accessory Review: Mugen Power's New Nintendo 3DS and 3DS XL Extended Batteries

Hi all.

Bought the 3ds XL blue colour version. Charged for 8 hours......then orange charge light went off. Of course this adds extra weight and bulk......saves carrying round an extra battery pack to charge the 3ds.
Was looking for a battery anyway as mine is failing.....I have used my 3ds XL for the last 3 years maybe every single day and it's always on standby to get the streetpass hits which has become very few now compared to couple of years ago. In the USA you can buy a battery from nintendo website. In the UK you can't. So emailed them. They got back to call call this number option 4.........waited.....nothing happened....thought not going to bother there. Looked on Amazon UK and saw these ....read reviews and bought one for £49.99. Was going to pay 10 to 20 for one normal replacement battery anyway.
So glad I bought it......lovely well packaged and full instructions and easy to install.

A long term 3ds user. Went to Blackpool for weekend in October.....I got 6 streetpass hits that day.......so happy people still use this system.

Anyway. Take care all.......hope this system lasts a few more years. No interest in the switch as a portable system.....nothing beats the 3ds for portability.
