Really disappointed in NintendoLife. Been visiting the website and watching the YouTube videos for years and they’re usually so much more careful not to post spoilers as significant as this…
When I was young, back in the 90s, my Dad had bought a SNES but didn’t play on it very much. The first Zelda game I played was A Link to the Past. I must have been four or five years old when I played it as I remember it being very difficult! I never got very far.
Now I own nearly all of the Zelda series and have completed the vast majority of the games. For some reason, I’ve never played Twilight Princess or Minish Cap though… think I’ve played all of the others…
Whenever I see something like this my immediate thought is, That looks awesome - I’m going to get one! Swiftly followed by the realisation of how much it costs!
The real struggle for me is when there’s something around the £100 mark…
Since the GameCube, I’ve bought the vast majority of Mario/ 1st party Nintendo games that have been released…
But Aces didn’t grip me at all. I know that Fever looks to have some great new elements, but - deep down - I also know that if I buy it, I’ll only get a couple hours out of it…
Now if there was an awesome single player element with some RPG aspect, I’d be in. (But I know that’s not the Mario Tennis vibe…)
And I’ve read a few comments on other stories saying that people don’t need to keep posting about this topic… but I think it’s important to keep raising.
I’m not buying games that use Game Key Cards out of principle and I’ve come to terms with the fact that this means I’ll miss out on some cool games…
I don’t know why, but I can remember so vividly solving the Phantom Hourglass puzzle sat on my bedroom floor in my mum and dad’s house. I can literally picture it all so clearly. That was over 14 years ago…
I didn’t know the puzzle was in other games too though!

Re: Talking Point: Should Nintendo Have Kept The Mario Galaxy Movie Fox Reveal Under Wraps?
I’m a big fan of Nintendo Life and have been for many years, but what a strange article to write.
“Should we be annoyed that Nintendo just spoiled this really cool thing that WE’VE just plastered all over our homepage?”
