I'm definitely slowing down, once I unlocked terraforming, and put all my buildings where i wanted, it became a bit harder to decide how to keep improving the island. I finally paid off my final home expansion, and found my last fossil last night, and i'll keep checking in daily, but I think I've come to the end of putting in 2-3 hours a night, especially since my main motivation for a daily check-in was making sure i could maximize turnip profits.
@Anti-Matter Do you have Three switches to dedicate to three ACNH towns? or do you play until you get bored of your perfectly controlled town and delete it to make a new one? No offense, but the way you play this game sounds like the opposite of a relaxing escape from reality.
@Crockin Of course i have been keeping with this, but deciding to cancel every even that is 5 months away doesn't improve what is happening today, and just feeds into the panic people are feeling. I'm not one of the people saying it's not big deal and ignoring the significance, but making decisions that far ahead, without allowing time to get the full picture of what it will look like even a month or two out doesn't keep it from spreading.
@Gamer83 Implying Nintendo is run by no-fun a-holes is a bold but baseless statement. This isn't Microsoft, and it sure as hell isn't EA. They made a tiny change, which was possibly a bug introduced when they started patching issues on the new console, it's not like they added loot boxes to the home page.
The success of the switch lite is not going to negatively impact standard switch owners or the future of the switch pro in any way. If anything, the switch lite flopping would discourage Nintendo from releasing a pro, because it would prove too many of its "fans" are impossible to please. And modular controllers are not perfect, sure you can more easily send them in for repair if they break, but the standard switch feels flimsy in handheld mode and I've disliked that since day 1. No console manufacturer is perfect, not Sony, not Microsoft, and not Nintendo. You take a risk by supporting these companies because you like what they have to offer, but wishing them to fail because they make a product that you don't find perfect is insane. Get a life people.
I travel for work, sometimes for weeks at a time, so this is the perfect way for me to bring the switch along with me without stealing the one at home from my Fiancee while i'm gone. Plus now we will finally be able to play stardew valley coop!
also @Anti-Matter the turquoise just always looks different depending on the lighting it's in and the camera used to take the picture. I've seen multiple reviews that note none of the colors seem to look the same in person as they do in the marketing.

Re: Random: Someone's Transformed Their Animal Crossing Island Into Danny DeVito, As You Do
@Emperor-Palpsy lmao, sure, spare me the Rick Astley nonsense, early 2000's 4chan called, they want their spicy memes back.
Re: Random: Someone's Transformed Their Animal Crossing Island Into Danny DeVito, As You Do
@Emperor-Palpsy Because Danny DeVito is a hero who is still relevant.

@Crockin While it's likely true that this won't go away by summer, it doesn't help to start cancelling all events that far in advance.
Re: Feature: How Switch Brings Back Game Boy Multiplayer Memories
I don't recognize the light blue Gameboy in the header photo, is that a legitimate Nintendo product or some knockoff or clone?
