We've seen some cracking Animal Crossing: New Horizons design attempts over the past few weeks, but this is, well... This is an island made up of Danny DeVito's face.
If you're even vaguely familiar with the man himself, you won't need us to tell you that the likeness is absolutely spot on. The design uses the game's different ground layers to create light and dark green colours for the face, paths for his glasses, and a river for the outline, all custom crafted using the Island Designer app available on your NookPhone in-game.
Here's the full thing in all its glory:
Its creator, Reddit user B4SSOON, says that it's not quite finished. Next, they plan to move the houses around to neaten things up a bit, and when asked how long the project's taken them so far, they said, "I lost track of the time". We're guessing quite a while, then.
We recently compiled a list of some of the best islands we've seen so far. If you're looking for inspiration to turn your island into something special, make sure to check them out.
Amazing work, B4SSOON. We can't wait to see how it looks when it's finished.

This is awesome! 😂
I can’t for the life of me think of why they picked Danny DeVito and not Rick Astley 😂
It’s interesting what people do in animal crossing, doesn’t make sense but it’s interesting
@Emperor-Palpsy
Must be strangers to love. Don't know the rules, neither do we. A full commitment's not what's cooking up, must have been thinking of any other guy. I just want them to know how I'm feeling, gotta make 'em understand.
Ok, that's hilarious!
@Emperor-Palpsy Because Danny DeVito is a hero who is still relevant.
@JohnyHalo Spare me the ‘hero’ nonsense...
May I interest you in an egg in this trying time?
Why do I see a Pikachu?
It's a shame after all that hard perfectionist work, the name's missing an "N"!
@Emperor-Palpsy lmao, sure, spare me the Rick Astley nonsense, early 2000's 4chan called, they want their spicy memes back.
@AlexSora89 Wow! 😂
I don't understand the inclusion of the phrase "As You Do" in the title.
@FantasiaWHT
From Google...
informal•British
used as an ironic comment on a somewhat unexpected statement.
"on the way home I fell asleep in John's car, as you do"
So it's basically British slang.
Covid-19 sure has brought the best in people.
(i love it)
I'd like to do the same, but mine will probably look more like Timmy Mallett
How? I mean...what? Gotta applaud the effort.
None of that island would be more than 4 feet above sea level
Because somehow no one has said this: this is awful.
Now if only we could get a Twins reference.
More talent than I got (both the island and the actor).
Uncanny. Amazing how the island topography resembles the Gameboy Camera.
@Yas Space limits
Do not diddle kids!
It's no good diddling kids!
ah, so this is the true origin story of danny the street
Maybe time to ease the lockdown.
Haha, this is amazing. If you're going to make your island look like someone, this was the ONLY choice.
@Shadowmoon522 I made an account just to like your post! 🤖
@Yas I Don't think you know what slang is, "As you do" is just adding emphasis on the humor of the situation, playing it off as is a common thing people or one as individual do in a common bases when in reality no one does because of how absurd the idea or situation really is. =
@Shadowmoon522 I don't think you will ever find a better situation to use this pic for, just perfect, lol =XD
@Quix Slang - a type of language consisting of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal, are more common in speech than writing, and are typically restricted to a particular context or group of people.
So, "as you do" is a phrase, it's very informal, it's more common in speech than writing, it's restricted to a group of people - not sure which group, let's say the English for argument's sake. So how exactly is it not slang?!
I suppose it might better be described as an idiom, or maybe irony, if you want to get technical.
So anyone I started building 😆
@Yas Yes, on the technical part, you're not wrong per say but it is been use really loosely in this context. I know I came of really douchie, didn't mean to be so forward, don't think anything of it glad your response was great and well thought out. If only the internet could be this civil, lol =XD
