@ChromaticDracula Hi, developer here. Thanks for checking out the games, I really do appreciate that. I approach my game concepts with the prioritizing aspect of, "what would be really, really cool." Being able to take your favorite protagonists from one game and put them in another game to see them in a different gameplay style and different moment in their life is something that is really exciting to share with people. The coolest part is that the people who like my games and reach out to me often enjoy the same games I like so we have something to talk about.
@Vivianeat Hi, developer here. Thank you so much for supporting and enjoying my games. I'll do my best to keep improving and making ever better games for you.
@Daniel36 Hi, developer here. I totally hear you. Working on my games is so demanding, I don't actually have time to play any games either! Lately, I've been designing games, especially this one, that people can jump in and out of for short moments at a time so they can enjoy a game without needed to make a huge investment in time or attention.
@Moistnado Hi, developer here. This game uses dynamically built environments for each level so challenges can feel different each time, despite there being only limited number of different environments for missions. Because of that, environments must be designed with a modular sensibility. Cheers, Jerrel
@Serpenterror Hi, developer here. The LCD game modes help to set the tone and feeling of games in the late 80s, which is when the story of the game takes place. They also function, as you said, as a sort of 'demake' or reimagining of the gameplay for Tiger handheld electronic style games. Cheers, Jerrel.
@ChromaticDracula Hi, developer of Silver Falls here. Every game in the Silver Falls series brings its own unique atmosphere and style to the series. This allows me to tell different stories for different characters while building a sense of cohesion in the world. Each game's style is unique set match the time period of the story and the vibe of each character it focuses on. This allows me to make sure every game in the series is unique and the series does not stagnate over time.
@Zisssou That's a shame. I apologize I couldn't get the game out to you. I submitted the games but unfortunately Nintendo Europe couldn't hold the door open long enough for us and that window of opportunity closed while the games were in the approval process. Deadly Premonition has its own unique charm, and it would be disinengious if I tried to copy that with my games. The Silver Falls series has its whole own style going on. Hopefully you might be interested in checking out my upcoming Switch games. I did just bring our previously NA 3DS exclusive game, Ghoul Busters, to Switch for all regions, due to popular demand.
@PessitheMystic Hi, developer here. I have no interest in bragging rights. I worked hard and made these final games to give people something and help them feel better about the end of the 3DS and Wii U eShops.
@Zisssou Hi, the developer here. Feel free to check out our launch party for our Wii U games, where I play a number of our games we launched recently: https://youtube.com/live/SQrXmJGAx9U You can check out the other videos on the channel and see the games for yourself. You can also check in with the player playing and enjoying the games in discord or wherever and judge for yourself if you think the games are "so bad they're good". In fact, if you'd like to DM me, I'll get you download codes so you can play the games and judge for yourself.
@Vyacheslav333 Hi, the developer here. I apologize for the games not being able to launch in Europe. Nintendo stopped accepted new games a long while ago. After people got upset due to the announcement of 3DS and Wii U eShop closer, I personally asked Nintendo if they could hold the door open long enough for me to make some last minute games to make the situation better for those 3DS and Wii U users. Nintendo had no obligation to say yes, but they supported me in my endeavor to make these final games. Unfortunately, Europe's business processes had to move forward and they couldn't hold the door open long enough. That's not Nintendo's fault; the made massive efforts to support me. It just goes to show what a huge deal it is that Nintendo of America was able to launch these final games; they just about moved mountains to create an exceptional circumstance to bring these final games to 3DS and Wii U.
