@electrolite77 Exactly...can't wait to have my 7 and 4 year olds enjoy their favorite characters on the big screen. My 7 year old beat Odyssey twice with my help and is crazy about anything Mario. I'm guessing this is the type of audience Nintendo was going for... lifelong customers.
@JohnnyC Exactly and the same type of comments "no story" were made about the first movie. Looks like the scope of this second one is at least larger so it will be worth at least 2-3 watches.
@Paddle1 Would you have thought in a million years that Retro could have pulled off DKCR before they actually did? I think what Retro proved is that the DKC formula and style is still relevant today and can be picked up and done justice by a competent development team with Nintendo's oversight.
@Lizuka After 10+ years I had to create an account just to respond to this post specifically. Zelda has no plot? Say that to the 100s of theory accounts on YouTube. Nintendo basically released an entire collector's book called "Hyrule Historia" with tons of history on the places, various races, back stories etc. If anything, Zelda is the story people most want to hear because it has mature themes, rich characters and locales.

@Munchlax Because they are intended to be RPGs which traditionally have a story. It used to be the differentiating factor for those games.
