As a Killswitch 2 owner, I can confirm the dock is a pain when it comes to docking and undocking, but I've had no other issues with it not working as intended. I've also had no issues with JoyCons not staying where they belong.
I'm hoping, for my sake and every other Killswitch owner, that these are largely isolated issues!
