Video games are art, if you think otherwise, then you need to end your life. Because movies are considered art, video games are art too. All those doing designs and doing graphics for games consider it art. By saying that video games are not art, you just made the entire industry a big fat joke.
And yes, they need to get rid of Cammie. She is just uncharismatic and bores people out of their minds. When Reggie appeared for the first time, he had it right. Does "Taking names" ring a bell?
If it doesn't, where the hell have you been sleeping under? If it does, it just goes to prove that Nintendo's E3 show needs to have a lot more energy. Cammie is just not good at it. She's probably awesome at every day job ... but at E3, she's just plain awful.
And argument we're kids because we don't like her, it just dumb. Probably the most kiddish comment someone could ever make. The age defense. Please go to ethics school.
@JTCPingas09 Not every game needs to be a FPS or Final Fantasy game you know. Stop using shovelware as an excuse to not try something new. Just because you don't like a game it doesn't make it shovelware. If it were the case, then all FPS games and all RPGs are shovelware to me, which wouldn't make any sense.
Everything that is software can be changed and hacked no matter how much security you put into it. It will never stop. Some hackers actually find a challenge in breaking the code.
Hackers will stop doing this when companies get the big picture.
Why do people measure a game by "time"? It just doesn't make sense to me, at all. People whine about the most ridiculous stuff theses days and are cheap. A game is meant to be played several times, not just once, just like movies. I'll never get these people. I think they need chill pills.
""Well... and there still are the most evil creatures of all: WOMEN!"
Ummmm, what? Who wrote this storyline, 4th graders?"
Well, women are indeed evil. Think about it, with their bodies then can make a man do anything. Hell, wife can make me do anything just by showing off some skin, it's like a dark power women have over men that turns us to complete drooling morons ;P
Definatly damage control. When you work for a company and make statements of any form even forums, you are making a public statement. The company noticed it and now are doing damage control.
@Aardvark Soup: Err, thats the worst argument I ever read. The game was ported badly. No attention was given to it other than "let's compress it". The argument isn't even about the Wii being underpowered, you are totally missing the point.
This is about common sense. I cannot support a developer ... yes ... I blame Telltales, because whoever makes a comment, it always reflects back at the company, no manner who you are in the building. We've fired people at my work place for making the company look bad for far less than this.
@jp-30 : The fact that you even defend yourself and try to say we are being selfish for our comments suggest to me that you are the kind of person that will take anything from anyone and like it. This baffles me to no end how someone can just take a punch in the face and be fine with it while his nose bleeds.
Again, I have seen no Wiiware game or Wii game that has all the problems Monkey Island has. I work in Graphic design and I've participated in a number of media projects involved Flash for the web that required compression. We can turn a 10meg sound file and tone it down to 200kb sound file and still get good quality out of it, much better than what Telltales has done. No effort was done to preserve to quality for the Wiiware version. They all went "hey let's compress it", "nothing we can".
I'm astounded that your eyes are blinded to the facts.
I can't name a single game I own that has lag and crappy sound such as Monkey Island. It was a complete waste of $10 on my part. It's unplayable. LEGO Star Wars runs perfectly and it's more detailed than Monkey Island. This guy is on crack and because of him I'm not going to buy the PC version like I wanted to do ... not because I'm a Wii fanboy, but because it's obvious they are trying to cover their crap using stupid argument that don't hold water.
While VC is an awesome thing, I think the main problem Nintendo has is that people who really want to play those games already do so through emulators and illegal means. I don't think any amount of advertisement will change that.
As for Boycotting Wiiware, no. Ridiculous. Get real. I'll never do that. I love Wiiware. It's why I got a Wii in the first place.
Also, that email smells "fake" all over. I'm going to do my own investigation on this.
Sadly, I did get this and I should point out that the Wiiware version should get re-reviewed immediatly. As other people pointed out, the Wiiware version suffers from choppyness, loading times, badly compressed audio which basicly makes this game a insert all the swear words here nightmare to play.
My suggestion to all those wanting this game : Get it for PC.
Final Fantasy My Life as a Darklord for 1000pts? I guess they finally came to the conclusion that asking 1500 for "My Life as King" was a bit going over board? Anyways, I'm going to get FFMLAD when it comes over here.
Wow. This is probably the only Puzzle series I actually enjoy. I had the SNES game a long time ago and was wondering when they'd release it on VC. This is a must have for me.

Re: Bonsai Barber out in Europe this week
Best Wiiware purchase ever so far. Seriously. I bought this after watching a video review of it on Youtube and it's quite entertaining.
Re: Rage of the Gladiator Coming to WiiWare
I think I'm sold. I like how you went with a tech tree, this is a great idea. Allows for customization.

Re: iPhone more powerful than Wii?
Lego Star Wars on Wiiware?? I think the general comment of the guy was that Wii had slow downs in every game and not just Wiiware.
"That is so unbelievably daft, I do not know where to even begin."
It's my choice, and my principles, who the hell are you to judge me? I'm not forcing you on my boat, go away.

Re: The Three Musketeers: One For All!
Gah, and I went to get the choppy, bad audio compression monkeys instead of this . Need to get more Wiipoints. I knew I should have gotten this game.
