This is likely an adventure mode boss. Sakurai never said there would be no story mode, he just said it wouldn't be as cinematic and large as Brawl's SSE.

So, this guy really thinks that Mario Kart, Donkey Kong, and Smash Bros. CAN'T save the Wii U? Talk about unwise, he should take his own advice. By next holiday, we'll likely be seeing articles titled "Wii U console to reach 15 Million sales worldwide, thanks Mario Kart and Smash".

I was heavily against having Miis in this game... Before now, that is. For some reason this screenshot triggered an idea in my mind... Perhaps Sakurai will only allow about 10 Miis each to be registered onto the game, in order to make sure miis don't overshadow the REAL characters.

I'm not sure if I should be happy about this or not. I've never really wanted to play as Cranky. I was expecting either Funky or even K. Rool, considering the storyline possibilities. I mean, just think about it: DK and his long time rival join forces to defeat a common enemy... But, before I get ahead of myself, I suppose Cranky will do.

I really do hope that interest in the Wii U will rapidly increase this holiday, and I think that it will at least be considered as a new console by parents/grandparents. I think Nintendo has played their cards right, and by that I mean that they have done a good job (in the past couple weeks) of advertising to casuals. In 2014 I expect a more 'hardcore' approach, but for now they need to just increase the install base.

I really want that K.K Slider... Sadly most would say that plushies are for little kids, but this... is for men.

Is it just me, or does it seem that in the first one, Waluigi is on a Mario party-type trail to a Smash Ball? If so, that's a pretty neat detail.
