@Kidfunkadelic83 I watched that just now and they weren’t as critical as Digital Foundry. They didn’t mention drastic frame drops at all. Really confusing coverage. Yes it looks like ass but if it runs okay I’ll play it.
@mousieone Well yeah but I would imagine reviewers were sent download codes for the game that included the patch? They would surely want reviewers to have the best possible version of the game... even if this is it.
@mousieone Well I’ve heard people who received the game early had to download a 3.9GB patch. The Obsidian website actually says “a day one patch that could be up to 6GB” - so the day one is potentially not 6GB. Reviewers had digital copies that included the patch, so there wasn’t an additional download.
I hope I’m wrong cos I have this pre ordered and was really looking forward to this. But in the state it is right now I’ll probably return.
@LethalX08 On John Linneman’s Twitter somebody asked if the game includes the patch and he said it did. Apparently the digital review copies are already on 1.0.1.
Nintendo Life need to fix this review. How can they claim this game runs at a “pretty much” rock solid 30 FPS?

Does Borderlands run at 30 FPS the way The Outer Worlds runs at 30 FPS?

@jimolya I’m in the same boat. I’m interested in whether there IS actually a day one patch. But I don’t want to open it up to find out.
