I have a hard time understanding why some people indicated the level of difficulty was too high....I consider myself an average/good/not great gamer. I completed the game last week and it was a ''almost perfect'' game for me in regards to the level of difficulty, gameplay, map (simple, but good and I like linear games), atmosphere, items, soundtrack (90% was very good/creepy style), hidden areas, bosses etc. WayForward makes great games and this is another gem. I love games like Axiom Verge, Shovel Knight, Super Metroid, etc. I personally prefered The Mummy Demastered a little bit more than Axiom Verge. It does not happen often that I want to possibly complete a game for a second time and it is the case with this game! Just buy it or buy it if it comes on sale if you are not convinced.
PS : It was a little ''buggy'' on the Switch (docked) towards the end of the game (last hour) as there were many enemies. It still should not happen....
Bought the game last night for the Switch as it looks awesome and I love platformers! I could not play yesterday, but I will be putting a few hours in tonight. I find the graphics to be good/decent
Nice! Just heard about this today...I really dig WayForward work! Any word for the physical release?? I hate to wait for a physical when the digital is out...
Well thanks for the lesson seriously. I had no idea anybody could release a game on a Nintendo console...not logical, but interesting I guess. That is probably why there are so many bad games out there. @NinNin
This has nothing to do with Nintendo? I understand they do not create most of the games, but the company decides which games will be released on their systems and at what time (digital or physical), etc. They do the rules and regulations surrounding the games. @NinNin
People these days.... exact reason why Nintendo is only releasing old games/ramakes/ports, etc. ''I already have it on the 3DS, but I will buy it for the Switch''. WHY??? lol ''I played it on the PS4 and PC, but I will buy it for the switch anyway''. WHY?? The companies are now releasing anything and people are buying it... it's incredible... They are now releasing the digital version first like Sonic Mania or this game (2-3 months before release and at the same price on top of that, no discount) just because they know people will buy the digital and physical as well later the majority of the time... People then whine about Nintendo....well you are ''entertaining'' their marketing stretegies...just don't and it should not continue that way.
15$ would have been fine, but $20 canadian is a little too much even if the game looks neat! I will buy it anyway ..I am a sucker for that type of game @Undead_terror
Question for you guys....I've completed Shovel Knight on the Wii U(Shovel Of Hope I believe) and I am thinking about buying Treasure Trove for the Switch. I've looked everywhere, buy I can't seem to find a definitive answer...is there a new campaign in the sense of new levels? I see new campaign everywhere....but it seems like it is only playing with a different character and new abilities... Are they the same levels? Same story mode? If so, I won't be buying it. I am not the type to buy a DLC just to play a certain character...with new abilities (at least).

Re: Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Pirate Queen’s Quest Launches on 29th August
I loved that game! This DLC seems to be the same levels, but re-designed. Not sure about the $10. I will probably buy it anyway.
