My preference is for a full game on the cart, so I am already pre-ordering Cyberpunk 2077. But if I can't get that, then I have a mild-preference for this over digital downloads, but then it depends on the price difference.
This is just the continuation of the PC vs console debate that's been going on for decades. For me, it's always boiled down to the fuss factor between having a dedicated, standardised unit vs an upgradable machine that's not tailored to the software. Obviously the Steam Deck tries to consolise the PC to an extent, but at it's heart the argument is the same as you could have had about PS2 vs desktop PC 25 years ago.
I'm old enough to remember the era that Game didn't do trade-ins or sell preowned games in the first place! Used to be the big difference between Game and Electronics Boutique back in the day.
I don't have a smart TV, and not all streaming apps are available through my set-top box. It would be much easier for me to stream through my Switch, and indeed I used to do that with my Wii U. It would keep me in the Switch ecosystem longer too, rather than switching it off and watching TV. I also get frustrated that when traveling, I have to stream on my phone (with a smaller screen) when I have my Switch with me.

Announce Big the Cat’s Fishing Adventure! Switch 2 needs a crazy fishing rod peripheral.
Re: Review: Gex Trilogy (Switch) - A Happy Throwback That Couldn't Be Any More '90s
I would have plumped for this if it had an option for the British voiceover. Will take a dip if a patch ever comes out with it.

Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For The Nintendo Museum
Surely a missed opportunity to do a Louvre-style 3DS tour?!
Re: Donkey Kong Country Returns HD Costs $60 On Switch
I remember what the original DKC cost on the SNES 30 years ago, so with inflation taken into account, $60 sounds like a bargain!
