Not having achievements is a big miss for me. I don't buy 3rd party games ever on the Switch because while not having achievements wouldn't ever stop me playing a game, as my shelf of 1st party switch games show, if I'm going to buy a game I may as well get the trophies/achievements while I'm there. Not even fussy on which ones! I just like them as a diary of what I've played. It's cool that I can look back on the exact day I finished my first 360 game right now (Peter Jackson's King Kong The Movie The Video Game!). I like comparing with people to see how far we got in different games. I think people get strung up on the "big number go up" side of it, but theres more to it for me.
Won't stop me playing all the Switch 2 Nintendo games, just unlikely to play anything else there.
