@Peach64 Does ad-hoc party work cross continent? Perhaps if you were to play monster hunter freedom unite on a PSP, you could then use adhocparty on a PS3 to play with them.
As far as I can tell, it's not a specific adapter made for monster hunter, but is instead just the standard ethernet adapter. You need to be connected via ethernet so that the Wi-Fi is freed up to connect to your 3DS.
I've got my Wii U connected via ethernet already, so if they release the app in the UK, that's all i'll need.
If one has a Wii U already, it seems weird that one would buy the 3DS version... But I suppose portability is important for some people and buying both versions is expensive, so it would be a good app to have if possible.
I still can't decide which version to get. I'm thinking possibly the Wii U version unless I can get some real life friends who are definitely going to be playing it. I would prefer to play with real life friends than online randoms because online randoms aren't kind.
