For all the talk of "Nintendo won't sell" these things are never certain forever. Shareholders ultimately hold the power on whether a company gets sold and if a majority of them see a huge profit it could happen...eventually.
Currently there is no where near the desire to sell amongst shareholders (the biggest stakeholders are Japanese) and government and regulators would surely shut any sale down. But never say never.
The game doesn't seem quite "99" enough for me, would love a game mode with no lap limit, you just steadily eliminate the back markers until there's one winner
In some ways it seems kind of staggering that in 2023 a 2d platforming-run-jump-collecting game will sell extremely well. And it'll be sold at the same price as all the mega budget "AAA" games. Just goes to show how varied the gaming world is, and how narrow a group of games that generally get the gaming media's attention.
If they'd just released the game for ps4/ps5 I think the price would have been cheaper. The Switch port is what's making the price high because it's a new platform for the game and older games ported to Switch have been able to command a high price. The price will drop very quickly for playstation, and less quickly for Switch if I had to guess.

Re: Nintendo Doesn't Plan To Announce Mario's New Voice Actor Ahead Of Wonder's Release
At least you could be fairly sure they aren't using an ai generated voice, given how popular the voice actor profession is in Japan.

Re: Poll: Do You Think Switch Can Catch PS2's Total Sales Before 'Switch 2' Arrives?
I'm sure something will eventually beat the ps2 record. There's probably an extra billion people on the planet now than when the ps2 stopped selling.
Re: Best Cooking Games On Nintendo Switch
I'm looking forward to PlateUp! when it comes out in October. Watched some streams of people playing and it looked like a more chilled Overcooked.
