Three Houses for me. Much more interesting premise, I actually like the Persona-style stuff, and while the story wasn't amazing, it kept me hooked. Engage on the other hand... Better maps than 3H, for sure, but story has to factor into it. The story in Engage is so laughably terrible that it takes me right out of it. It's so bad and so immersion-breaking that it actively harms my enjoyment the other parts of the game. I liked the gameplay enough that I was seriously disappointed when I'd run out of good skirmishes and have to move the story along because it meant having to sit through more of that garbage. It's one thing to have a forgettable story, it's quite another to botch the writing so badly that it's insulting to the people who bought the game. For the next Fire Emblem, the team that did the gameplay should all stick around, and they should spend some money hiring some actual writers.
I don't know about 8bitdo anymore. I love the shape and concept of the SN30 Pro, but I have two of them and I've already had to replace the button membranes in both of them once, and am about to do one of them for the second time. One is three years old and the other is two. I'd need to see some confirmation that they're using better materials before taking the plunge on anything else from them.
