Now in the 90's, if someone said that Nintendo and Sega were going to join up with Sonic and Zelda mixing, people would think you're crazy and riot. Nevertheless, this looks really fun and promising. It shows a lot more creativity and exploration than the Yoshi stage (which was also entirely 2D, and this is mostly 3D). I haven't played Lost World in a while, but this does give an incentive to play it again. Smart move Sega.
@jdarrell One of the reasons why I think that VR headsets don't work, is because they are nauseating. I know someone who owns the Occulus Rift Dev Kit, and he's tried out a game on it, and says it can be nauseating after 15-20 minutes. He told me that he couldn't imagine doing it for an hour. Because of this, I believe that VR won't work, but I wouldn't call them a flop.
@Ryo_Hazuki-san Almost like the tortoise and hare story. This new "Next Gen" dudebro things are like the hare, who everybody is always praising. Nintendo is like the tortoise, who takes their time, and despite having suffered criticism, is still in the race.
@unrandomsam I finished it quick, because I essentially went on a marathon-esque play-through of the game (only did story and some side missions). Even then, it took me about 11-12 hours to finish it. If I 100% it (which I will), it will probably take around 20 hours total. I apologize if I made it seem short.
@Peek-a-boo Yeah, I just finished Second Son, amazing game. The graphics are stunning, but then again, Sucker Punch always makes games look beautiful. The gameplay was amazing as well. It's a shame that Tropical Freeze isn't in there though.
For anyone wondering regarding the AC 3DS title. They were working on it, but cancelled it, and instead took the ideas and concepts of the game and expanded it further for AC Revelations.
I hope more fanboys realize this. They can fight all they want about "enemy consoles," but Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo all have "rival consoles." I think Reggie said a few years ago that he had 360 and PS3, yosp (Shuhei Yoshida) has 2 Wii U's, and I was recently at a lecture, where a Microsoft head said he owned a Wii U and PS4
Great 3ds screens this week, looks better than the Wii U ones (and this coming from someone who usually likes the Wii U screenshots more than the 3ds ones).
@StarDust4Ever Just the other day, I was in a game store, and there was a 7 year old kid with his mother, looking for PS3 games. One of the guys who worked at the game store knew that the kid was buying the game, and recommended God of War, and the mother and kid had no hesitation to buy it.
As others have said, I recommend Wii U owners to get this. I got it on Steam (however, I wouldn't mind picking it up on Wii U) and loved it. Overall, great game.
I'm just wondering why it's coming one day later on EShop than elsewhere. One day really won't hurt the sales of this game, but I'm still curious. Since this is a digital release, I would of thought that it would have released at the same time.
I will be getting this on Wii U if reviews aren't too bad. With the last Spider-Man game (Amazing Spider-Man), I thought that wasn't too bad, but this does look better. Would have been great if we got Amazing Spider-Man 2 & Arkham Knight on Wii U...Oh well.
I like Dedenne (obviously not competitively speaking). As others have said, it would have been nice if he had gotten an evolution. I'm pretty sure he was the only Electric-Fairy (I may be wrong), and that typing has potential.
@Shiryu Yeah, Jesper Kyd is an amazing composer-he's done music for the Assassin's Creed, Hitman, and Borderlands series. I really liked his work on Darksiders II, in fact, I have the soundtrack with me now!
@ricklongo Sorry that you won't be getting Tropical Freeze until March, but it's well worth the wait. It's a truly amazing game, and I hope you enjoy it when it comes.
@MrGawain Yes, at E3 2013 they showed off gameplay, and one of the control options was to use the Wii U Gamepad as a steering wheel (so essentially same thing as the wheel, but free).
I posted this on the previous article, but I think this is something NintendoLife should look at. There is new Smash Bros news that confirms a Palkia appearance, and Pokemon info.

Re: The 3DS is Now Three Years Old in Europe
@Shiryu Senran Kagura and Dead or Alive...
In all seriousness though, both are excellent beat-em-ups

Re: Japanese Pokémon Tournament Unveils Exclusive 3DS XL
Gasp A new special 3DS XL coming to Japan...never saw that coming.
Although in all seriousness, it is a nice looking design. However, I agree with what many have said above, and it does look fan made/decal.
Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Thirty
Great screens this week, and it was hard to decide between Rosalina and Phosphora, but I picked Rosalina.

Re: Weirdness: The Legend of Zelda's Master Sword Appears to be in PS4-Exclusive inFAMOUS: Second Son
Finished Second Son yesterday. Great game, beautiful graphics, best in series, and is fresh. Recommend it to all PS4 Owners.

Re: Year of Luigi Gets Official Send-Off from Shigeru Miyamoto
I think it would be great if they continued things like this for more under appreciated/underutilized characters.
Re: Win Big In Our 'Year Of Luigi' Send Off Competition
I've entered (not that I expect to win).
Thus I wish good luck to all who entered.
Re: Feature: A Week of Super Smash Bros. Wii U and 3DS Screens - Issue Twenty Nine
I love that DK picture. It's hilarious and makes me smile...nearly as good as his Smash Bros screenshot when Zelda got revealed this time around.

@TOMBOY25 Thank you very much for that announcement. I missed the opportunity to get the statue earlier, but have now ordered it.
