It's Monday, which means it's time for our Super Smash Bros. summary from last week. There are some good'uns, too.
Masahiro Sakurai produced one post that we though worthy of its own article due to the size of the reveal, and that was Lumiose City as a playable stage; that was particularly exciting for fans of Pokémon X & Y, with the added bonus that it was even more 3DS visibility to join other recent screens. Sakurai-san's posts also showed trophies, special moves and some environment items to grab our attention, will humorous poses included as standard.
Without further ado, the last week's screens from Sakurai-san are below for you to enjoy; you can click on the date heading to visit the Miiverse posts in question and give them a Yeah.

Is that last one a stage from that tomodachi collection game thingy?
I can't believe nobody voted for "Big Mac" lol!
It's neat to see an update to character's, in this Zelda. The first picture is just so odd...
Isn't the Little Mac trophy a reference to something?
Lumiose City looks awesome.
I wonder if it will change between day and night..
@Moorpheel Yes
Um, so is the last one implying that the villager has hired Wii Fit Trainer for bachelor purposes? Knowing Sakurai...
Voted for the last one, good to know bachelor pads are alive and well in 2014.
Doh - ninja'd by 18 seconds.
@Sparkyboy6 That's how he appeared in the Japan-exclusive game Captain Rainbow.
@Moorpheel Form what I've herd yes. The game itself has been considered for a western release.
@FishieFish well, it's "Lumiose" city, something tells me it looks its best at night.
@Lance168 Nice, thanks.
Lumiose City of course! And I have a grudge against that other revealed stage now, I'm sure people can guess why.
@Yosher Because the Villager needs more swag?
Why is mac so fat?
The screenshots seem to be ramping up to me! Seems to be a reveal every day. Hopefully we get a new character soon - and hopefully it's a newcomer! I think Yoshi will be confirmed next though. Probably in this week's Nintendo Direct...
How did they get a zoomed out view of the prism tower? Is this the new entry/stage introduction.. or is it just a moving platform around the city hidden from camera like delfino island from SSBB..
Maybe when the match ends something in the stage happens (Hence the light turning on)
I'm kind of surprised that Zelda's picture won. I voted for DK because the motion sensor bomb is my second favorite item, next to pokéballs, and because I thought I was going against the masses.
Nice moves villiger!
That pic of DK makes me smile.
It's Donkey Bomb !
I hadn't noticed before, but you can actually see the five plazas that surround Prism Tower in Lumiose City; the monuments even have the right colors. I love that attention to detail.
Looks like little Mac ate too much MacDonalds. No. Okay.
@Skeet102 Little Mac ate too many Big Macs... noooooo.. I'm so sorry...
the only disappointment last week was the lack of a character reveal but other then that I would say that this was quite a good week all things considered we got quite a bit of new stuff
DK's expressions always put a smile on my face
DK: "Is it candy?!" BOOM!
I love that DK picture. It's hilarious and makes me smile...nearly as good as his Smash Bros screenshot when Zelda got revealed this time around.
i wish sakurai would stop releasing these screenshots and just release a release date.... im dying to play it....
Love spamming Zelda's fire attack!
@noctowl Nice. No more Heroes 2 reference too!
Is it just me, or does the Little Mac screen look like it's viewed on the 3DS? If not, that use proves that Nintendo isn't taking it seriously when it comes to graphics.
I'm impressed by the detail of the pikmin landscape you can tge in the background and the broken vase where the proximity mine is placed on in the DK pick
Lumiose City is looking really nice. I wonder how it will play as a stage though?
...Also, the majority of DK's screens are hilarious.
I LOLed so hard at DK! His expression, and knowing what happened moments later. There's that expression about things blowing up in your face... literally, in this case! We need an "after" pic this week, looking like Mario in Super Mario World, when the castle explosion goes off as he goes to check on it. ^.^ DK got my vote!!!
@Giygas_95 Yup, a cherry-banana firecracker! Has a little bite to it.
@WaveBoy
How did you know that? Captain Rainbow was a Japan-only release... did you import or something or do you just have a super-natural knowledge of Nintendo IP trivia lol?
@ningeek185 The Smash series has always had crappy looking trophies. This is not new.
Little Mac because he's a "Big Mac."
Awwww I was going to post that Little Mac ate too many Big Macs but someone beat me to it already! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO- oh well who cares I know someone who likes cookies and cream.
So that's what Little Mac's King Hippo impression looks like.
DK's expressions are priceless. xD I also really like that Lumiose City is a stage in the game.
Man, today's revealed 3DS stage looks freakin' awesome!!!!! Super mario 3D land's stage reminds me of how awesome delfino plaza's stage was in brawl.
Where did fat Mac even come from?
@ #4, #14, #45: He was tricked into cultivating mass because the gang said that they were all close to the tipping points, but needed real-life avatars to take over their regular lives whilst they inch closer to their respected "points." Well, by the time poor Mac had achieved (his idea of) his tipping point (his body-building avatar was part of the problem), the gang had moved on to a scheme, like, three plans from that, leaving Mac a fat, oafish, crybaby with candy in his pants. And that's what Sunny Sakurai was eliciting in his March 10 pic (huge fan!).
Oh, and Mac's kind of like the tough guy at the bar (I believe "Sheriff of Paddy's" had been personally coined once), which would explain the green ('cuz it's an Irish bar) boxing gloves...I think.
Lumiose City. It was a no-brainer, hands down.
