@SheldonRandoms @Xtremetdifan @Gioku Haha, no confusion guys. Because of the difference in branding, the other reviewer, Martin, and I were tasked to write reviews for the UK and US versions of the game, respectively, and it just wound up being a difference of opinion. If you notice, both reviews mention a lot of the same things about the game, but we just had different takes on them.
@Sceptic You raise an interesting point about whether or not the coaster riding is a cut scene. I think you have a valid argument that it's not, since you're technically riding it. But from my perspective, since it's a video game and a) the player is just viewing the screen, and b) no button that can possibly be pressed at that point will affect the outcome, a cutscene seems to be the best description.
@placidcasual Actually, thanks for bringing that up. There were one or two times when I thought that happened to me, but I wasn't sure if it was the result of something that I had altered or not. However, one of the things I forgot to talk about in the review is that, crash or not, the coaster ride would sometimes not play out exactly the same way, even if no alterations were made to the track, so yes, there are definitely some bugs in there.
Well to be fair, she did say it was a total upgrade. haha. Also I do think the fact that the boy makes fun of his mother by saying "we already have a Wii" implies that she is very wrong in thinking that.
But yeah, even though I didn't go more in-depth on the word "upgrade" in the article, I agree with everyone posting about that. Their message needs to be far more blatant, and I was also a bit frustrated that she used the word "upgrade."
@Captain_Gonru All great points, but I'm just as challenged walking into GameStop and trying to locate a 3DS title for under $30. In this economy, price matters huge, and Target continually runs promotions intended to get gamers in the door, often with prices that beat even Amazon and other big name online retailers.
@MetaRyan I had the same experience until I moved about a year ago and suddenly there was one by me again. Guess that one will be shutting down soon and I can grab a game or two!

Re: These Three New Kickstarter Projects Are Trying To Fund Their Way Onto Wii U
@Titanics I'm rather new to Nintendo Life, but I like the idea - I'll pitch it and see what people think. Thanks for the feedback!
