@SwitchForce A mole? Is that where that's really going? I don't care about this product, only facts. I calmly explained everything revolving the situation plain as day, but whatever, choose what you want to believe.
I also just don't understand your second part of your comment. "After Christmas I'll have a merrier life while you move on." What is that supposed to mean exactly?
@Zidentia I'm nobody, but me? Not sure how to answer that. But there's nothing suspicious, and that's quite easy to explain. I have lurked on this site for a good while reading articles and comments, but never had an account. I read this article, then proceeded to read the comments. I saw misinformation being talked about, and felt the need to correct what was being said, because it's easy for people to talk about something even if they don't know what they're actually talking about. Why not correct somebody if they're in the wrong? As for 4:09am, my sleep schedule is as so, I stay up late and wake up late. I'm a night owl.
@SwitchForce Again, see above. As for what Zidentia said.
As for your comment, how have I not read? I've followed everything about the switch since the start. "Most" bricking stories are not from charging. As I said in my first post, it has to do with the way the docks work, also involving power. And as I also said in my post, this product is not charging the Switch, it is a pass through, using the original Nintendo charger. And that's simply going off of what information is presented here, as well as their site.
@Neko77 @MysticGengar Sigh I don't mean to be rude, but you didn't really look at this at all, did you? This product is NOT a dock.
When referring to the Switch, a "dock" is a docking station that charges and outputs the Switch Audio and Video through USB-C to HDMI for TV display, as well as give access to additional USB ports. 3rd Party docks brick Switches due to (rough explanation) the fact that converting the Audio and Video to HDMI and the power it requires messes with the Switch because of lack of power standards and how the Switch was made, on top of the 3rd Party products not matching up with how Nintendo made theirs, causing issues.
This product does no such thing. It is a Stand, and in Switch terms, a "stand" is a device that holds the Switch for tabletop play, and possibly allows room for charging (since the built-in kickstand on the Switch does not). This only goes a step further and builds in GameCube ports that pass through to the Switch's USB-C port. It also has a pass through so you can charge the Switch.
So as you can see, this is not a dock, and there is no room for bricking because this does not function as a dock, as there is no A/V converting going on.
I hope this helped explain things, and I apologise if it sounded like you were being talked down to. I simply wanted to have the Switch terms established properly (as people could mix up words) so I could then explain the difference to you and how this product, based on what we know, is different than your comment says.
