@rafaelluik Well, Platnium was the "Yellow" version of the Diamond/Pearl generation. They didn't make "Diamond 2/Pearl 2" just to have Giratina Origin Form. I can't quite explain it, but this situation is different.

Well, I certainly wasn't expecting this. But let's all try to be optimistic. It was just announced, we don't know ANY details, and has a Pokemon (RPG) game ever actually failed or dissapointed us? I doubt Gamefreak would be stupid enough to re-release the EXACT same game with one Pokemon having new form(s).

Also, out of all the pokemon to be used as a playable character, my vote's for Dragonite!

I hope they bring back Mewtwo as a playable fighter.

I think they should be "coin"-based missions (or whatever they'll be called). Each Wii-U game has missions that reward coins for your profile, and maybe one super-hard "star"-based mission. And the amount of coins you get in a game doesn't necessarily have to be a set amount like the 360's 1000 point total. Imagine how many missions they could squeeze into Super Smash Bros?

But what sets it apart from the Trophy/Achievement system is you can unlock content for your Wii-U profile based on the amount of coins/stars you collect, like a Capt. Falcon helmet for your Mii when you reach 1000 coins, for example.

Nintendo, DON'T DO IT. 3D is what makes the 3DS special. Besides, people will be spending most of their time looking at the TV, not the controller.

Hopefully they have permission from the respective companies. Nintendo is ruthless when it comes to copyright infringement.

In recent events, it would almost call for Nintendo and Sony to find a common enemy in smartphone games and prove to the world that handhelds will never die. But, Sony went and blew it with "Derp, let's COMBINE a handheld with a smartphone! I like the taste of crayons!"

Don't forget Donkey Kong Country Returns. That was Rare's game and Retro Studios brought it back to prime status.

EVERYTHING Rare made for Microsoft can't hold a candle to the games they made for Nintendo. It's like the episode of Spongebob where Plankton forces Spongebob to work at the Chum Bucket, and the burgers he makes aren't as good. Mr. Krabs=Nintendo, Spongebob=Rare, Plankton=Microsoft.

I don't know, the run in world 8-4 had some questionable moments. Like jumoing on an invisible block and going down a pipe that HAD A PIRANHA PLANT COMING OUT OF IT. I don't think this is on the up and up.

"Biggest rivals" is an understatement. They didn't call it the "16-Bit Wars" for nothing. Sega actually slandered Nintendo in their TV commercials.

I would go through everything Snake went through in Snake Eater just to get that thing in North America!

You guys realize that these aren't "versions" like Pokemon. The screenshot suggests that they are most likely to be similar to the Oracle games, meaning that they are 2 completely different games with interchangeable data. So you can't buy 1 and expect to get the whole experience.

Sir, it is my duty to inform you that this a "troll-free" zone.

Who cares if Sony and Microsoft are supposedly using UHD (ultra high def) in their next consoles? Nintendo doesn't need high-def graphics (although Zelda, Metroid, Star Fox, F-Zero, and Fire Emblem would look AWESOME in HD), because their gameplay is still its strong point. Sony and Microsoft, however, think graphics are 90% of the game and make that their primary focus.

They really should count both Pokemon version as one game. Red isn't better than Blue and vice versa.

Who cares? Skyward Sword is the best game on Wii across the globe.

I think Sony and Microsoft realize (but won't admit) that Nintendo is THE gaming juggernaut, so they're probably rushing into production with their sequel consoles just so they don't seem "behind".

I can understand Sony naming it the "PS4"; Nintendo calling their's the "Wii-U" is a strange name but there's a logic behind it; but the "Xbox 720"? That's assinine!

Why is this 80$ when the NES player is 500$?

$350-$400 seems just fine. Considering the Wii was successful with it's $250 launch price, and the Wii U will be a much more powerful console able to compete with Sony and Microsoft (at least that's Nintendo's claim), $400 is a fair price.

Don't the people who run the Virtual Console try to keep their updates a secret?

I suspect that the Legend of Zelda timeline is like Final Fantasy's, they exsist, but no actual timeline is set in stone. With the exception of Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask, because we KNOW MM follows OoT, as speculated in the game itself.
