Re: Super Meat Boy May Skip WiiWare and Head to Retail

2-D

As long as it happens sooner rather than later. The longer I have to wait, the more likely I am to give in and buy it on Steam.

Still, if they can give us a more complete game on disc, go for it. I'd rather have a disc anyway. Give us some of the extras (dlc/level editor/leaderboards) and you're good to go.

Good luck, Team Meat!

Re: Japan Receives Red Wii in Honour of Mario's 25th

If we don't get All Stars AT LEAST I'm gonna be pretty annoyed.
Not too fussed about this, cause it's just red. It should have a big white M on it or something, other than that it's just a red Wii with a pointless 'special' version of SMB on it.
Either way, disappointing that it's Japan only for now. I know there's a lot of people out there who'd want one of these

I'd really like to see some GBA games though, too.
I missed out of both Metroids as I didn't really know about the franchise at the time, and they're so expensive online. I really want to play them though!

Re: You Can Stop Waiting for Worms: Battle Islands on WiiWare Now

Meh, I would have got it on WiiWare but I doubt I'll buy the disc. It's not the sort of game I play loads, but I like it and it would have been good to have a small version - kinda like Tetris and Bomberman Blast. I'd never buy Tetris Wii at retail, but the WiiWare versions great to drop in and out of.
Is there any chance of a stripped back, no-campaign version for WiiWare?

@Aviator
Nope, I'm with you. I loved it.
I thought it was fresh and exciting, maybe not as perfect as the Primes but still a step in the right direction. Not once did they play it safe, and I'm willing to put up with 'confession time' for that (which, incidentally, was one of very few cringeworthy moments in an otherwise brilliant story)
