Following Minecraft Live last month, Mojang has now shown off the new "Trial Chambers" as well as the new hostile mob known as "The Breeze".
The Trial Chambers are a new procedurally generated structure, crafting different challenges each time you enter. Each room contains something helpful or hostile.
Trial Spawners will up the level of difficulty depending on how many players are in your party, with each chamber containing different types of mobs. If you manage to overcome these mobs, you'll earn a special reward.
Players will also need to be on the lookout for the new mischievous mob "The Breeze". The Breeze is "not like any mob" players have fought before. It can jump around and knock players back with powerful gusts of wind, there are also environmental effects whenever it shows up.
All of this is coming in the Minecraft Version 1.21 update, which is landing in 2024. If you really want to jump in early, you can check out a preview on Xbox, Windows and iOS devices.
What do you think of this new mob and mode? Tell us below.

Whoooo!!!!
And may I add
yay.
Good news for those still playing Minecraft. Part of me wants to go back and check it out again. I killed the final boss a decade ago. I imagine the game has changed much since.
Trial chambers? Yeah I’m in.
I wonder how you initiate the trial chambers. Reminds me of the Vault Hunters mod; I suspect it will put you into a different dimension as opposed to anything which actually exists within the overworld.
@TotalHenshin Minectaft has a whole new vibe to it now
@TotalHenshin Me too. Started in 2010 and killed the ender dragon around 2013, 2014 I belive. Someday I will have to go back to check out how much has changed.
Got back into Minecraft recently as a lot of good mods are there for the newest updates, like Create and Farmer's delight, and I'm absolutely loving it. In my view, it's the best it has ever been.
I can't say I'm interested in this. Minecraft kind of lost me after a while. It feels like a good amount of these updates now seem to recycle content which already exists whilst adding minimal new content that makes things worth playing. A lot of these things being added are also just worse versions of what modders are able to to do.
