Midgar course looks amazing, so the new characters do too (especially Vogl) although most likely gonna stick with Asura & Leviathan. Finally eating good after 2-3 seasons without a new course.

@Sisilly_G season 2 was pretty neat, it introduced Balamb Garden from FFVIII and three variants!

Asking just in case I may still wanna pick this up one day, is there ways to get characters introduced in previous seasons? If so, does it involve NOT potentially paying lots of money in the form of microtransactions?

@Yosher if you missed characters from previous seasons you can get them with tickets or gil. You get both currencies by playing the game and no need for extra money. Only character missing in the shop is Cloud, but since there’s a new Midgar course maybe he’ll return?

You know, the physical version can be found really cheap, at that point one might as well overlook the predatory monetization tactics and just enjoy all the extra content that's added for free.

Tried playing this game last month, and the online community was dead. There weren't even enough players to get the online GP mode to work.

It's also half off ($25) on the eshop right now.

I think this will be the first Switch game I've bought in over a year, looking forward to Cloud and Midgar.

I like this game. It's no Mario Kart, but it's good in it's own right. I picked it up cheap and my family has a good time with it.
