Publisher Red Art Games has announced that dungeon-crawling JRPG Demon Gaze Extra will be getting a physical release on Nintendo Switch, launching on January 13th, 2023.
The game, developed by Dragami Games LTD, will cost €59.99 and will be available for pre-order later today on the official Red Art Games website.
Here's a rundown of what to expect from Demon Gaze Extra:
The protagonist becomes a bounty hunter using the Demon Gaze, an eye that controls Demons. As a Demon Gazer, he is uniquely capable of taking on the Demons that dwell in the region’s labyrinths. Since its release in Japan in 2013, the original dungeon RPG DEMON GAZE was an instant hit. With its innovative system, engrossing storyline and thrilling challenges, DEMON GAZE EXTRA retains its original flavor while adding enhanced graphics and a number of new elements for an even greater gameplay experience.

I shipped the game from PlayAsia few months ago (could have saved myself some taxes if I waited smh), it's a flawed and very grindy dungeon crawler, unless you are a really hardcore dungeon crawler fan you will probably not like the game.
I was waiting for something like this, I have a physical Vita copy, but Extra got some nice graphical upgrades.
There is a asian English physical copy, but I didn’t want to get it because there is no english on the cartridge, it requires a patch for that.
I can't see any gameplay in the trailer.
I guess this is neat, I rather know if Demon Gaze 2 is going to be ported off the Vita. Might get it just solely to have on the shelf with DG2, but I already did everything in the Steam version.
I just have no really hard on need for physical stuff unless the box has more than buying it digital. Or I want to make a set of things on my shelf.
Demon Gaze was fun. Probably my favorite of the PS Vita dungeon crawlers I played. Interesting theme, and I rather liked the funny blond elf dude. Artstyle is also very attractive.

I already have it from playasia. And I have it for the PSVita. Great game.
Too late I already got it digitally on Switch. They really should do these physicals much closer to the original release on Switch
