Last weekend, we found out about a new Avatar: The Last Airbender RPG through an Amazon Japan listing. Titled Avatar: The Last Airbender - Quest for Balance, nothing has been confirmed by the supposed developer GameMill at the moment. But Avatar fansite Avatar News states that it has seen the game, along with knowing when the game will potentially release. (Thanks, My Nintendo News!)
According to Avatar News' source, Quest for Balance will be launching on 8th November, which is barely over two months away. GameMill is indeed involved with the game along with Paramount's subsidiary Avatar Studios. And the game's story is reportedly set after the events of the show. The members of the Order of the White Lotus will get together to share stories of the end of the Hundred Year War — but it's not a straight revisit of the show, as some memories may be inaccurate or unreliable.

So far, Aang is reportedly the only playable character that has been seen, but given that the game will reportedly be covering Book One: Water, Book Two: Earth, and Book Three: Fire, Avatar News believes there will be other playable characters throughout the game.
One last comment left by Avatar News' source is that the game's art style is inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, using cel-shaded visuals and soft lighting. Though the game apparently plays nothing like it, Breath of the Wild is a clear source of artistic inspiration.
Of course, the game's existence still hasn't been acknowledged, so take this info with a spoonful of salt. But if that November release date is real, then we expect to see something on the game soon. Maybe Gamescom is the place?
What do you think of this information? What do you want to see from an Avatar: The Last Airbender RPG? Let us know in the comments!

I'm really really really REALLY hoping this will be a good game, but I have some doubts about that.
Waiting for the official reveal though before passing any judgements.
I've hardly watched any Avatar myself, but I put my kids onto watching it to gauge if it was any good or not and they loved it, so I really hope this new game exceeds the previous efforts and adds to the franchise in terms of quality.
Avatar The Last Airbender is one of my favourite shows. Great viewing for all ages. Legend of Korra was good too!
Oh my god please be true! Please be true! I need this! I need this! Please don’t mess it up, fans including myself have been asking for a long time! Please be good, please be good!
The cel-shaded artstyle has come a long way from Wind Waker. Glad it's viewed in a positive reception nowadays.
Turn based please
@Yosher Same. Going to remain cautiously optimistic. I'm amazed there still hasn't been a good avatar adventure game yet. The character is so well designed to "learn" new moves as you go that it could really work as a zelda/metroid prime esque game where new abillities unlock new areas. Just need to do some prior avatar so that they could do what they want with the story.
@Zeropulse They could all the same make it a big "what if" thing though! Like, you COULD follow the main path and have it play out exactly like the show, but have branching paths that could determine how things work out.
At least, in a perfect world. That would require a lot more work probably and I don't see it happening, so your option is probably the next best thing on that front.
@gcunit Dude, do yourself a favor and binge the show right now. Drop everything. Avatar: The Last Airbender is the pinnacle of television animation. The first season starts off a little goofy, but stick with it. It goes places you wouldn't expect for a Nickelodeon show and tackles some really mature themes like genocide and coping through grief. The writing, music, animation, and voice cast are all just sublime. It's only three seasons long, so you could get through it fairly quickly.
@Jacoby Korra gets such a bad rep, and I don't understand why. It's not as consistently good as the original Avatar, but the high points are still incredible. I think I saw a rumor a while back that this game would have a post-launch Korra paid DLC expansion, which would just be perfect. Here's hoping!
Some screenshots just leaked the other day for Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3, and unlike the first two, the visuals actually look pretty stellar. Nick All-Star Brawl and SpongeBob Rehydrated are also very pleasant on the eyes, so I really hope Nickelodeon has learned from their days of gashgrab mediocrity and are actually giving this game the budget it deserves. Avatar is my favorite show of all time, so this will be a day-one purchase for me no matter how it turns out.
I won’t believe it till I see it, but I seriously hope that this is true.
There's also a pretty cool Avatar game being made in Dreams by a fan that's being documented on YouTube.
I know it's not coming to Switch as of yet or maybe ever, but being Airbender related -> Here are links to the ongoing development + a Q&A for anyone interested!

... Wun can only hope.
The game is supposed to come out in November, but there is zero official news? That is very strange if this is true. Hope it's true and hope the game is good. Love Avatar!
I'm down for a AA (I presume) Avatar game. Started reading the Kyoshi novels 3 weeks ago so the timing would be good. As long as its fairly priced and, you know, actually a good game I'll buy it.
Not thrilled with the November date though.
Not a lot of time to run promotion and the competition is stiff.
@Not_Soos Do you have links to the screen shots?
I had the one on the GBA and it was a nice but short little game, with puzzle solving, good music, and a cross eyed Haru for some reason. Nice to see it get a new game.
@gcunit You totally should, it's mature in all the ways that truly count. It never talks down to the audience and is intelligent, beautiful, funny, cultural, action-packed and sad. There is not a single truly bad episode, the animation is gorgeous and the music is superb. I personally guarantee that you will have fallen in love permanently with this masterpiece even before the grand finale.
@sneaky_sasquatch That would be interesting.
I guess thats the part where Nintendo fans act like Nintendo invented Cell shaded visuals and open world games.
@Snatcher If you go to YouTube and search "PapaGenos," he talked about it in a recent video and included screenshots. They're pretty low-res due to being blown up from a much smaller image, but you can still make out lots of details. Jimmy Neutron is gonna be one of the new racers this time around, which has me pretty excited.
@Not_Soos I know that guy. Gonna check it out. Thanks!
@jorel262 You'd be surprised! It's not uncommon for games to drop announcements at Gamescom or The Game Awards and releasing the same year or early the next. It's possible they wanted to keep it a secret until they were ready to go gold, but tht doesn't change the fact that they wouldn't be giving it enough time for promo
GameMill doesn't exactly have the best track record...
