Kirby's Dream Buffet is out now for the Switch eShop and is, by all accounts, a pretty good time! We posted our review of the game earlier and gave it a pretty healthy score of 8/10, stating that it's "an easy, breezy game to jump into, perfect for beginners and young gamers, with plenty of courses, lots of unlockable goodies, and a budget price point to boot".
We've got good news for long time fans of the Kirby franchise, too. If you're an owner of previous Kirby titles on the Switch, then you'll be entitled to some bonus race music in Kirby's Dream Buffet. All for free, no less! This includes Kirby and the Forgotten Land, Kirby Fighters 2, Super Kirby Clash, and Kirby Star Allies, with three bonus tracks awarded for each game.
The tracks themselves appear to be musical arrangements from their respective titles, so if you're itching to listen to music from Kirby and the Forgotten Land whilst gobbling up strawberries and what not, Dream Buffet has you covered!
In other news, it's been discovered that Kirby himself is actually much rounder in Dream Buffet than he was in Forgotten Land, which is pretty handy considering the Super Monkey Ball-esque gameplay you've got going on with the new eShop title!
Did you unlock some bonus music in Kirby's Dream Buffet? What do you think of the game so far? Let us know!

This game is so much more fun and satisfying than fall guys!
Hows the single player? is it worth?
aka alot to unlock
@hawkylr 135 levels of stuff to unlock, costumes, music, color changes.
@PJOReilly did I read that number right? It’s got that much content?
@Snatcher It's got 135 Gourmet levels. I'm assuming you get stuff for each one yeah.
@PJOReilly That’s crazy. Might need to pick it up sooner then I thought.
This is a lot of fun! And I’m glad there was something to unlock for having past games. It’s kind of a tradition, at this point, for these eshop games. I remember all the 3DS ones having little extras if you had save data so, glad that’s continuing.
I like the fact that Nintendo add these songs to Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D Collection, and now Kirby's Dream Buffet.
i still would like to see Nintendo add their music into songs apps (Spotify, Google Play Music, etc.)
still a nice feature to add them in the games itself though.
This is cool, but this is basically Nintendo saying that the only way to listen to their music is by playing their games. Kinda sad, honestly
I guess it's okay as long as it doesn't leave "???" in the track list since I don't have any of those games and will never own them all
