Minecraft Legends

Last month, Mojang lifted the lid on its new action strategy game, Minecraft Legends. It's another spin-off (a bit like Minecraft Dungeons) set within the Minecraft universe.

In this title, you'll unite the overworld mobs, command them, and with the assistance of allies - defeat all evil. It combines existing Minecraft lore with myths. Below is a video of the game's development team talking about what this new experience has to offer, and what exactly players can expect going into battle.

Minecraft Legends has been confirmed for the Switch, Xbox and PlayStation, and is currently scheduled to release within the next 12 months. Here's the original announcement trailer, if you didn't catch it during the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase last month:
