Earlier in June, not long after the release of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II, players discovered a bug in the game preventing them from completing it.
As described by a player on social media at the time, a game crash would occur after the Basilisk Crash cutscene when landing on Onderon. Aspyr at the time said it was "aware" of this issue, and advised players to resort to a warp cheat in order to proceed past this point.
The developer has now issued an update, resolving this issue and more. Here's the announcement, along with the patch notes:

Yay!! been waiting so patiently for this update, much praise, such awesome.
Glad to see this happen. I’m still waiting for the restored content DLC to drop before starting though.
Honestly the port wouldn't be in the spirit of the original KOTOR2 if it released in a playable state.
Glad they got that sorted.
I'll bite once they drop the restored content mod as DLC. Played the first one many times but never touched the second for some reason.
I think would buy a physical Release with kotor one and two.
@E_Gadds_Garage just a heads up. When it’s released you need a game save already to access content apparently. I plan to start game do nothing and save. Strange you need a save to get the extra content.
Not often I've thought poorly of Aspyr. Glad this was reconciled.
@Krysus Sadly all of these Star Wars ports have shipped with major issues. I can't help but think poorly of Aspyr.
Having said that, they have been good about updating games and fixing these problems.
well it fixed the Dantooine crash for me. Now I can finally continue!
