Nintendo has teased an upcoming update for Mario Kart Tour, with the 'Peach vs. Bowser Tour' due to launch on May 17th at 11pm PT. It sounds like a great way for our favourite Princess to finally enact revenge on Bowser, who has spent much of his life trying to kidnap the poor woman; she just wants to bake cakes for Mario, for goodness sake!
Of course, Bowser may well come out on top and achieve the victory he's always dreamed of; time will tell. Nintendo has shown off the members of Team Peach and Team Bowser in a couple of Twitter posts, so you're given plenty of time do decide which side you want to join ahead of the Tour's launch.
In the meantime, The Doctor Tour is still live now, bringing with it the fan-favourite track Coconut Mall, which also happened to make its debut in the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass.

How is Yoshi on Team Bowser?
I don't play Tour, but I kinda hope they keep updating the game with new content forever. I want Nintendo to just port every track over to Mario Kart 8, lol. I'm already ready for a second Booster Course Pass two years from now. And it goes without saying, but they should bring over all the extra characters and car accessories while they're at it. There's so much good fanservice in that game wasted on microtransactions.

Yoshi has a shell on his back like Bowser. So it sort of makes sense.

The biggest thing to note about the trailer is it reveals that Wii Koopa Cape is coming to the game.
Better than divorce court I suppose.
So sad we can't play as Birdo and all those Kongs in Mario Kart 8. Nostalgia for my old Birdo and Diddy Kong kart in Mario Kart Double Dash...
@Pillowpants I was just about to ask that? Yoshi absolutely does NOT belong on Team Bowser. Sucks because he's my favourite character to race as...but I hardly play Tour anyway. I'll stick with MK8D.
I am a simple man. I see Dry Bowser & Rosalina on Team Bowser, I join Team Bowser.
Also, I believe the Peach vs. Bowser Tour is a reference to Super Princess Peach…
I have more coin boxers on Team Bowser, but I have a grander total with higher overall levels on Team Peach, many of which are Peach variants anyway, so… I guess I’m going Team Peach.
