We still don't have a concrete release date for upcoming wholesome game, Potion Permit, but now that you can pre-order the physical version of the game, we're tempted to say that it'll be sooner rather than later.
In Potion Permit, you'll play the role of a small-town chemist whose job it is to heal, treat, and win over the locals, who are naturally suspicious of this newfangled alchemy. You can diagnose symptoms, find cures, collect materials, and even fight monsters while you're foraging for ingredients — so it sounds right up your alley if you're a Stardew Valley fan.
Two versions of the physical release are available. One is just the game box, which presumably contains the cartridge (no word on manual), and then there's the Collector's Edition, which includes:
- Physical game
- Collector's Edition box
- Cleaning cloth with item art
- Acrylic standee of your workshop
- 52-page artbook
- Certificate
If you're interested, you can pre-order the physical editions from Funstock:
Both are estimated to ship in 2022.

It's already gone up for pre-order on Videogamesplus.ca, if you'd like to order an ESRB copy from Canada.

I wasn't aware of the PEGI release being available from Funstock's website though, along with the Nexomon Extinction collection, that's good news for me.
I'll probably nab a copy. The game does have a charming, cozy vibe.
...I kinda just want that Haunted Chocolateer game instead. However you spell it, lol.
This looks interesting, I will wait for reviews of it first though
Finally! Looking forward to this one!
Omg this looks right up my alley! Love the art style, and the music is actually good too! Cozy world, and I love brewing potions as a science.
Pay now and at some random point in the future you will get a game, which maybe, just maybe does not suck.
The three essential problems of our time: COVID. Climate change. FOMO as a legit business model.
