Remember around ten years or so ago when it felt like Angry Birds and Minecraft were both starting to completely dominate the gaming landscape? Well, after a decade of spin-offs, movies, and countless collaborations, the two titanic IP have joined forces, with an Angry Birds Adventure World now available for download in Minecraft.
Available for 1,340 Minecoins, which is roughly around $9.99, the add-on will let you play as one of six Angry Birds characters, along with an additional ten character skins.
Here's some info on the release from Rovio:
"Developed by Oreville Studios, the DLC features two birdtastic game modes: Classic Mode lets players fling birds from a giant slingshot to take down teetering piggy towers, just like in the original Angry Birds games – only now in the beloved blocky style of Minecraft. Mission Mode, presents the player with four unique environments to explore, challenging players to rescue the members of the Angry Birds flock including Chuck, Bomb, Stella, and more. Once unlocked, the birds are available as playable characters with their own special abilities to be used against the flock’s arch nemeses, the green piggies. Players can also find golden eggs which contain adorable Hatchling friends."
In other news, Minecraft has recently become the third best-selling Switch game in the UK, putting it behind Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

I can’t believe what I’m seeing Lmao!
Angry Birds?
Have I stepped into a time machine?
Now what was my password to my MySpace account?
Haven't played Angry Birds in years. I might give this a shot, I recently bought the Sonic DLC and I was impressed.
@Silly_G MySpace? sheesh I used to have an account on there years ago before it disappeared. Bebo was another Social Media website I used to like going to as well before it closed down and came back as a boring Mobile app.
Earlier this year I played Angry Birds Reloaded and 3-Starred every level it had at the time. The game still hits hard for me as just a fun, casual time. I wasn’t a big fan of the Sonic DLC, but this still looks fun, even if it might be as janky.
@RubyCarbuncle : Weirdly enough, my MySpace profile is still active, but I couldn't figure out how to access my account so that I can finally delete it and further diminish my digital footprint.
I also used Bebo quite a bit back in the day, but it wasn't until Facebook had come along that social media really exploded (and even more so when smartphones entered the market). I only seldom use Facebook these days, and I haven't posted anything in close to 4 years. I've also gone through my activity log some time ago and tried to delete as many of my older posts, photos, and videos as possible. Much cringing ensued as I reflected upon the musings and ramblings of my unwiser self.
