A new music video was premiered today, February 25th, as part of Pokémon's ongoing 25th anniversary celebrations. The song itself, titled "Reconnect", is by music producer Yaffle with featuring vocals from Daichi Yamamoto and AAAMYYY, and was revealed back in September 2021 as a track on the Pokémon 25 album.
Other Pokémon 25 tracks to get their own music video include Katy Perry's "Electric", which features a time-travelling Pikachu, and Post Malone's cover of "Only Wanna Be With You", which has Posty taking a tour around a Pokémon-filled world.
This music video is set in what looks like a rural konbini, a Japanese convenience store, and heavily features nostalgic elements, from the Game Boys at the beginning to the candy in the shop. Dancing Pikachu, Snorlax, Squirtle, Charmander, Cubone, and Clefairy take up part of the video, with lyrics weaving in references to Rare Candy, HP, and body slamming depression.
What are your thoughts on the music video? And which has been your favourite Pokémon 25 song so far? Let us know in the comments!

wow, it is so bad ...
I really like it, didn't think I would but I do.
Not a memorable song. Unlike "Electric", which my girls sang a hundred times I think.
Oh my god are they still making this crap
@FroZtedFlakerZz this is 11th song from promised 11 songs, so they finished the album that they revealed around a year ago, so if they wouldn't released last song at all then they would literally been lying.
hmm, well, maybe I'm just not that into modern music.
It’s cute. The album could use some diversity, but it’s very “Pokémon”.
@SViper Ohhhhhhhhh I thought a handful of songs just came out last year, that makes MUCH more sense
@FroZtedFlakerZz To be fair, they pretty much just barfed out some songs every few months and no one kinda noticed for most of them unless they had a huge name attached
When your birthday lasts all yeat
