Mario Kart Tour keeps its players interested with a couple of updates each month, but it's next event is one that matters. Yes, it's going to be Team Wario vs Team Waluigi.
If you're unfamiliar with the 'versus' aspect of Mario Kart Tour, it's really just a fun way to add some colour themes into the game and freshen up races. Two teams are trying to collect themed tokens and win, though everyone who takes part gets limited time items. It's all about having a good time and proving that Waluigi is better and should have had his own spin-off series.
It'll kick off next week on 25th / 26th January depending on your timezone. The question is, which team will you be on?

Wario's Shipyard has also been confirmed as a returning track for the event. It's one of my favourite tracks in 7 so, while I'm happy it's back... I just kinda wish it's in MK9, ya know?
Also, I cannot believe you didn't say 'it's an all out WAH-r!'. That is such low hanging fruit I'm shocked you didn't go for it.
I once had a dream about a Wario and Waluigi themed conquest game (like pokemon conquest) where they used different random villain lackies from the mario series that they roughed up and convinced to join their side to conquer some random continent in mario's world.
I'm still sad that game isn't real.

Why does this mobile game have a better roster than every main game in the series?
I gave up on this game in early December. All the online cheating really killed any and all enjoyment.
This reminded me a bit of my early idea for Mario & Luigi 4 before it was unveiled as Dream Team. My idea was to have Mario & Luigi rivaling with Wario & Waluigi while also trying to stop the main villian. In some parts you play as the Wario Bros., doing their thing trying to get to the main villian first, kind of like the extra segments in Bowser's Minions and Bower Jr's. Journey.
On topic: I'll probably go with Mr. "Doh, I missed!" Wario.
All this energy from Nintendo for mobile content makes mk8 look like a zombie.
@Spider-Kev unless you race in multiplayer mode. All races are against computer opponents.
You can always restart the race before you complete it. (Plus the game is more pay to win since every part/character improves your overall score)
@The_BAAD_Man Thata how they pull players in. They go and lure them with characters and tracks that might not in the main games (like Kamek being finally added even though he was in the beta version of Mario Kart 64)
