Visualnoveler's Eternal Radiance, which first released back in April of 2020 and is currently sat on a "very positive" user rating over on Steam, is getting a Switch release on 13th January.
The game, which is a 50/50 mix of visual novel and JRPG, sees players step into the shoes of Celeste, a young squire on a journey to recover a stolen artifact and prove she's got what it takes to become a fully-fledged knight.
Check out some screenshots below along with an exhaustive list of features from the game's eShop page, which include:
Character-Driven Story – As Celeste travels across the continent with her companions Valana and Ruby, they’ll learn more about the world and its history, as well as a sinister plot about to unfold.
Exciting, Dynamic Battles – Take on a variety of enemies with an exciting action combat system. Plan your battles, unleash special attacks, and devastate your foes.
Beautiful, Mysterious World – Explore fields, towns, and dungeons across a strange world still haunted by its elusive past.
Customization – Use an expansive talent tree to customize Celeste’s fighting style.
Quests – In addition to the main story, side quests and optional activities allow you to further explore the world and characters of Eternal Radiance. Dig deeper into the lore, help the people you meet, and join your party members as they resolve their personal struggles.
Party Interactions – The three main characters learn and change throughout their journey and humorous banter fills their interactions as they come to know each other. Optional conversations add greater depth to their friendship.
Enchanting – Upgrade your gear and boost your skills by enchanting them with magical relics.
The digital version of Eternal Radiance will be $19.99, and there's also a physical version which has been available since November via 1PrintGames.

This looks a bit like an Atelier game crossed with a "Tales of" game. Not sure if it's one I'd play personally, but it looks quite good!
PJ O’Reilly sounding somewhat positive about an anime style game?
Is the world ending…?
Odd that alot of KS pledges got this going and they left out KS to get a Physical option as part of their pledges.
@Xellen I'm a big fan of most of them!
Wow people still releasing playstation 2 games?
This isn't worth that price, maybe il try it once it goes below £6, and it will
I enjoy games which are half-VN so this intrigues me. Right now I'm playing a VN-platformer hybrid.
The Publisher is actually named Visualnoveler? 👀
@UltimateOtaku91 This game released in 2020.
@UltimateOtaku91 $206 is the most I'd pay.. I mean I did pay $250 for the Collector's Edition of Clannad on Switch
After watching a review I decided I will get this on my next check.. obviously the physical version
Looks thoroughly decent. Might check it out if i can get through some of the ole RPG backlog..
