If we say "there's a 2D puzzle platformer coming to the eShop" we'd understand if the response would be yeah, along with a hundred others. But One Hand Clapping is aiming to be a little different when it arrives on 14th December as you solve puzzles by singing, with the pitch of your voice being key.
It's an interesting idea, and of course to play you'll need a microphone and headphones - so a Switch-compatible headset is probably the way to go. The game also promises that you don't necessarily need a strong singing voice to play.
This exceptionally unique game provides you the freedom to express yourself through its mechanics, helping you build confidence in both your singing voice and the voice within you. Don’t worry about hitting the wrong notes, One Hand Clapping is all about taking risks and learning from your mistakes. Find out just how far your voice can take you!
The world of One Hand Clapping is full of vibrant landscapes and mysterious characters portrayed through a warm, minimalist aesthetic that inspires self-expression without overwhelming the senses.
All you need is a microphone, headphones, and your voice to play!
Some reviews of the early access release suggest some players have struggled with the singing / pitch recognition, but hopefully issues like that have been resolved. Nevertheless it's averaged very positive user reviews on Steam.
Let us know what you think of this concept - is it something you're interested in trying out?

I just go a pair of ear buds that have microphone and work with Switch, and I've heard good things about this game, so I'm gonna pick it up just for the fact of how unique it is
If my voice was as good as the singer’s in the trailer, I consider this because I love music games. If I use what I have, my partner would wonder why there’s a dying walrus in the living room.
I love this idea! I'm hoping the gameplay lives up to the premise. I'd definitely give this a spin
Someone was inspired wandersong. I'll give it a shot.
My PS5 headset works on the switch and has a microphone so I see this as an absolute win
I got this one on Early Access on Stadia Pro, but never tried it. I didn’t even know it needed a mic.
Android for me.
Instead of all the Nintendo consoles that do come with a microphone, they decide to release this on the Switch?
Finally another use for my Guitar Hero mics.
Seen gameplay and I wont be getting it. You have to be able to sing in high pitch sometimes, and I can't do it. I wish I could tho
