I never tried Ys series. But it seems a good game for me.
Waiting patiently for Ys IX to go on sale.
I highly recommend Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana to anyone who likes a good action RPG. It's arguably one of the best games I've played this year.
I hope Ys IX goes on sale at some point lol.
Oooh a few things on my wishlist. Will pick up an eshop card.
@RCGamer Ys in general is a good series.
@RCGamer I highly recommend Ys Awakening. That was my first Ys game.
Giraffe and Annika is a cute 3D platformer. Not perfect but pretty enjoyable and full of charm.
I picked up Kemono Heroes from this sale and I am enjoying it. It is only about 1-2 hours but it has a few characters with unique abilities to try out.
It's been rolling for a while here, appreciably long. Already picked up The Lost Child from it and might still pull the trigger on something else like the earlier mentioned God Wars.
I know they aren't traditional touhou games but at that price I might dive.
If memory serves me, there is a real mixed bag up there in terms of average review score. I think I have all I want on that list which amounts to about 5 games. I'll check my wishlist though.
@RCGamer it’s excellent
@HIGHscores85 I would avoid burst battle and just get the other one. Burst Battle is one of my very few switch purchase regrets
@OorWullie Ys Awakening? I googled it and didn't find anything. Didn't you mean Ys Origins?
@faint I fell some "Secret of Mana" vibe on the Ys series, I really thinking about dive in it
Both those Psikyo shooter compilations are great.
hey that picture is a liar!
World's End Club is not in that list
Mad Rat Dead is one of the best platforming-rhythm games that very few people are talking about. It may be a big ask to get folks to both juggle conventional platforming while keeping the beat, but it's very rewarding when you pull it off~
There's also a meaty demo on the eShop that lets you get a good idea if it's for you. I highly recommend it!
@RCGamer That's the one. I've no idea why I wrote Awakening haha
Really good game.
Thank you for listing the 3DS sales as well! I've been waiting for that deep discount on Culdcept Revolt! That sounds like so much fun right now, having a card game for that sweeeeeet sweet handheld to get lost in.
EDIT: aaaaaaaand bought. I have been wanting to try Culdcept since it came out. It was another I cancelled my preorder for at the last minute. Finally going to try it tonight.
I told myself I was done buying games on sale for a while, but who knows how long into the future digital 3DS games will continue getting massive discounts. Definitely jumping on Culdcept Revolt.
I have spent hundreds of hours playing Culdcept Revolt with friends and over the Internet. It's probably my most-played 3DS game. I wish they'd release a Switch version.
@DragotheKomodo
It seems they forgot to put it in the list (ironic when they put it in the banner lol)
It's on sale though, down from 39.99 to 29.99.
If I didn’t suck at video games I’d go after la Mulana 1 and 2.
No...I keep buying games on sale faster than I can play them.
La-Mulana 1 & 2 and the Langrisser 1+2 collection are both extremely good. All of these have some of the best video game music I've had the pleasure of hearing in recent times.
Buy 'em now or wait for the next sale ... in a few weeks.
Was expecting the Physical version but it's eShop..... "(
