@Noid @JoeSooper You know they wouldn't be able to get by with that joke today, the way the mailman looks at them in disgust when Mr. Krabs says, "Oh, well uh...you're beautiful." I'm almost surprised that episode isn't banned on Paramount+, the same way they banned the "panty raid" episode.

I hope SpongeBob also gets The Quickster costume.

I just picked this game up on sale today and it's a solid-ish game so far! Gameplay wise it will never be my first choice over, say, SSBU or Rivals of Aether, but it's neat!

Glad to see they're dedicated to adding content to the game, although I sort of wish they would have delayed the launch in order to include it all at once.

@Arawn93 from looking at thaddeus' twitter he seems super supportive and impressed with it, the only person he threw shade at was nick themselves for nott providing a big enough budget

Spongebob's marching band outfit will make a great addition. I would even mod the audio files so Sweet Victory plays every time he wins.

While that game is not that good, many people didn't like it, it has potential.

This game needs updates, a lot of them, and it could have a sequel or a DLC deluxe edition.

The good: They are still investing in this game.

The bad: Another thing they should have added since launch.

The "Smash Ultimate" dev team should have done this for that game....

Most of research are pretty forgettable and are literally just a hat. Not sure it's gonna make that much of a difference in keeping players from getting confused about their player. Some of these are pretty cool though, like Zim's human disguise and Toph's armor from the Day of Black Sun.

@victordamazio The problem is the price, yeah sure its less than ultimate but ultimate is just such a better game and the games obviously get compared a lot

Loose Simpson reference aside, it is nice to see that this game is still getting support. While it's a shame all this didn't just come at launch, I don't think I'd mind if updates and support kept coming to a point that maybe they'd pack it all into a "Deluxe Edition" way down the line.

I know the white turtles are a reference to the black-and-white comics but it just looks like bone - like mutant Dry-Bones.

Look, I know it's unfair to compare Smash to this game, but they are acting like giving an Alt Costume is a major deal when many games include Alt colors and Costumes for free.

Did you know Mario game with his Builder and Wedding Suit Alts in Ultimate!? And you don't even have to download anything!

I don't know if Nickelodeon is behind the lack of alt colors, but I find it funny that they are treating Alt Costumes and Colors as some kind of groundbreaking special feature.

No, it's been a special feature of fighting games since Street Fighter II: Championship Edition introduced Mirror Matches.

Some of these fighters in this trailer got nothing but alt colors.

What's the big deal? I can fire up Dragon Ball Fighter Z and have tons of color choices for Goku alone.

I honestly laugh at this game as he falls apart from the hype everyone gave it.

This is the Smash Killer? The savior who will put big bad Nintendo in their place in the Platform Fighter genre?

Well, they still have that item update coming up... You know, the one that adds items to the game?

@Caryslan Not only that but the WB Universus already showed that every character basically has 3 alts out of the gate...with more on the way.

Kinda goes to show just how low budgeted Nickelodeon was...guess they learned nothing from Playstation All Star's low budget issues

Well, I hope this game sells well enough to convince Nickelodeon that this type of game is worth investing in, and that they actually listen to fan feedback and make improvements.
I'd like to see a sequel in a few years, one with a bigger budget that addresses the flaws with this game.
