RedDeerGames is a publisher that's becoming increasingly familiar to eShop aficionados, and it's confirmed its latest pick-up that's heading to the Switch. It's Little Bug which has been developed by Buddy System, an adventure platformer previously released on Steam; it arrives on the eShop on 26th November.
In incorporates some standard-looking platforming fare with a buddy that you can use for swinging around, and for our money its art style is rather attractive.
Explore an atmospheric dreamlike fantasy world and try to get to the hard-to-reach spots with the help of your bright friend. Collect items with fragments of Nyah’s life in her lunchbox and piece together her story. Decide which treasures you want to keep on your journey, and what to offer to the cat spirit named Roadkill, which can unlock secret zones with special objects and new challenges.

- A unique and dangerous fantasy world full of strange evil spirits
- Outstanding graphic style, colorful locations with pleasant soft lighting
- Two playable characters connected with unique physics-based swinging mechanics
- Hidden treasures to discover and unveil secrets about Nyah’s past
- Secret bonus levels with lots of new challenges to unlock
Let us know what you think, is it one for the wishlist?

According to the Steam reviews, this game only has about 2 hours of unique content. I will have to pass, even though I like the idea of it.
The art style is very ethereal and nice. And the protagonist is cute as a button. Could be a good game!
@Kaden Short experiences shouldn't be written off solely on their length. For example, Untitled Goose Game is in and out in two hours, and everyone loves it.
@CharlieGirl Agreed. However, my comment was not simply based upon the length. The Steam review addressed other issues like the bland story and lack of exploration.
The music kinda sold me. I’m officially on the fence.
I think when having a conversation about value it's necessary to keep all the cards on the table. Ignoring length as a metric seems foolish since for most gamers on limited budgets, it's about how far that dollar can take you. There are some diamonds in the rough for sure but with every transcendent 2 hours-of-power game, are many many crummy and half-baked adventures.
It looks super pretty. If the platforming is good I'll definitely buy it. I actually really like reasonably priced 2 hour games if they give an enjoyable and unique experience.
Not every game needs to take up 600 hours (cough ACNH)
Since the article asks, I think this game won't be on my wishlist. Don't like the artstyle.
