Mighty Goose - a game inspired by series such as SNK's Metal Slug - appears to be getting some free content in the future. This information was shared by Blastmode's creator, Richard Lems, via an update on Twitter. Here it is in full:
If you've not played this one yet, you're tasked with simply going from one level to another and unleashing waves of destruction upon enemies. In our Nintendo Life review, we had the following to say about this title:
"Other than the overly chaotic nature of the action, Mighty Goose is a visual treat, oozing style with its character and environmental design. The companions are also well realised, and can actually be played by a second person via co-op, although their abilities are arguably far inferior to Mighty Goose itself. Regardless, whether you play on your own or with a friend, Mighty Goose is a blast, and while it’s a bit short-lived at three-to-four hours, it’s definitely worth a shot if you’re up for some over-the-top run 'n' gun action."

It's on my wish list, just waiting for a sale. Looks so fun!
Is this a sluglike or a sluglite
Just kidding, but looks good
I've been playing this on Game Pass. It's ridiculous and fun. Looking forward to roping a friend into trying 2 player.
Seems like a rather short game though (2-5 hours according to howlongtobeat.com), but some things are better when they don't overstay their welcome.
What? I didn't know about this game, it looks awesome!
This was buried in the depths of my wishlist too. I need to audit the list again. I thought I had it monitored well but I forgot about this one.
@ralphdibny Don't even joke about that!!!!
Heheh, kidding.
It's like the Doom version of Untitled Goose Game
I love this game. I do wish they would update it with the ability to shoot diagonally though. Not having it, does sap some of the fun out.
Here is hoping for an intense boss addition to this game.
Is there a Physical version?
Untitled Goose Game 2: Goose on the Loose.
@Realness That seems like an important detail I'd not picked up on til you mentioned it, so thanks.
Hadn't heard of this game. Not convinced by it from the trailer, but it looked interesting enough to check out, but the short runtime and lack of aiming freedom are drawbacks.
This game is amazing if you like the Metal Slug games.
