Mario Kart Tour's had a busy couple of years since it first launched back in September 2019, with plenty of updates and new content keeping players hooked ever since.
For some Android players, though, a recent bug has been causing some frustrating issues, with some players reporting that they've been unable to progress past the game's title screen. Thankfully, if you're one of the players who has been affected by this, Nintendo appears to have implemented a fix.
In a statement shared this morning, Nintendo says the problem has been resolved and thanks fans for their patience.
"We have confirmed an issue where a "Support Code: 806-6502" error displays in the title screen after starting the game on Android devices, preventing players from progressing past the title screen.
The issue where players cannot progress past the title screen on some Android devices has been resolved. We thank you for your patience."
The game recently held a second-anniversary celebration event which saw the return of eight city courses and some familiar character designs. Next up? A Halloween tour taking place in London.

Did they fix the problem where the game was exploitative and manipulative gambling for children? No?
Game can be enjoyed without spending a dime.
Yes, I do have a problem with Nintendo continuing to update this game while ignoring one of the best selling games on their latest console (MK8) which truly deserves DLC and events like this game gets!

This game needs to die. I play this everyday.
Every Nintendo mobile game was affected, not just Mario Kart Tour.
Yadayada this game is evil yadayada take it down yadayada whatever, I'll just wait until the next real Mario Kart comes around or play any of the ones that aren't littered with trash mechanics designed to leech money from your pocket. Anyone who still has fun with this game though, you do you!

Both me and my young daughter have both played the game for ages, without spending a penny on it.

Enjoyed the game for about 18 months on and off without spending anything...
However, I deleted it a few weeks ago when it stopped working, and won't be reinstalling it. It's had it's timefill with me.

@Yosher I mean, Mario Kart Tour technically is a "real" Mario Kart game, just not among the main series. Though it is rather frustrating when you don't have the driver or vehicle you need.
