UK retailer Zavvi is set to launch a brand new and exclusive range of Pokémon clothing today, 25th August, with orders going live at 12pm BST.
The fully-licensed collection is called 'Pokémon Explorer' and features designs inspired by the theme of exploring the great outdoors with Pokémon GO. "Combining natural, earthy tones with utility themed garments," the range looks pretty perfect for Pokémon fans who like to show off their passion with clothing on the more subtle end of the scale.
There are t-shirts, hoodies, and even a military-style jacket available, featuring some fan-favourite Pokémon that you're sure to recognise:
On top of those, there will also be two limited edition canvas high-top designs. Featuring Charizard and a mountainous landscape, the shoes come in either white or black – the white design goes live at 12pm, while the black design will go live at 6pm. Zavvi's Pokémon shoes tend to sell out pretty quickly, so we wouldn't hang around.

Are you liking the look of any of these designs? Let us know if you'll be treating yourself with a comment below.

One of the worst retailers i have ever had to deal with in terms of customer service.
I like the Pokemon Army jacket
@bluemage1989 I hear you they are brutal. Things get delayed and then on top of that take few extra weeks to arrive and zero help from them.
why are companies with the Pokemon license bent on selling the blandest, most utilitarian clothing possible?
I wish Her Universe had a brand deal with Pokemon.
Very unispired merchandise.
The things they could do and this is what we get.
@bluemage1989 agreed!
DON'T ORDER FROM ZAVVI!
There was a similar commercial on NL a couple of months ago for a mario t-shirt, mug and coasters set. I ordered it, and still not received anything, 2 or more months on, and their customer service are no help at all.
I am very sorry that this is yet to be received. We have received an unprecedented number of orders for our print-on-demand range and are working through them as quickly as we can.
This should be on the way for you in the next 24-48 hours however I am also going to raise this with our support team and ask them to get this to you as soon as possible.
You will receive an email upon dispatch to confirm your order is on the way to you.
I have had this email 7x waiting for my Mario tee. I ordered it in 9th of June.....Still waitin. Don't buy from them. Absolute clown shoes
And of course it's all Gen I Pokemon. (Correct me if I'm wrong) yawn Overdone, boring Pokemon selection.
I always hesitate to buy graphic t-shirts from unfamiliar companies online. I have been burned before with nice pictures printed on dirt cheap shirts that fall apart in mere months.
I am willing to pay more for quality items. Laugh all you want, I have several decade old t-shirts from Hot Topic that I still wear and still look decent. Compared to random online retailers where I got several shirts that were little more than cheap rags after less than 6 months.
@Foxx sounds familiar!
I'm not familiar with Zavvi, but...
@CharlieGirl - "why are companies with the Pokemon license bent on selling the blandest, most utilitarian clothing possible?"
...I actually like them for that exact reason. With the exception of the shoes, all of these would fit in perfectly with my usual clothes and allow me to represent something I like without going overboard or look too cartoony. They're great because they're subdued.
Maybe it's because I don't live in a city, but the first thing that came to my mind was "If the line is called Pokemon Explorer, why make the sneakers white?!?" I know it's for fashion reasons, but still!
@Morgan19 Some people like style, y'know?
@CharlieGirl And some people have different definitions of style. It goes both ways.
I'd rather have options so everyone can choose.
@Morgan19 Okay, so where's the option of fun, vibrant Pokemon clothes for adults? Because it ain't this 🤷🏽♀️
Zavvi is a Hut Group website, as is the Nintendo Store
@Dimey Same boat as you! Ordered what seemed to be a good deal, but clearly a deal too good to be true! Order was placed at the start of July. End of July I contacted support to ask whats up. Reply saying “we’re very busy, you’ll get an email when it’s sent”… I cancelled the order. Seeing this post reminded me today to check and my order is still “Processing Cancellation” nearly 2 months after I ordered. Terrible experience! Even though these Pokemon tees are cool, I won’t be giving them my business again and I say NL readers to approach Zavvi with caution.
