Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion was a rather enjoyable release on Switch back in Spring - we gave it a hearty recommendation in our review. For those that have already played it, or indeed those that are thinking of grabbing it in the future, the good news is that it's getting some new free DLC next week, on 26th August.
This DLC will be accessible after you complete the game and is part of 'The Sunset Station update'; it'll feature "an infinite train dungeon known as the Limitless Line that has players battle new and upgraded familiar enemies for a bevy of rewards."
You can see a breakdown of this update below:
- Infinite rogue-lite train dungeon
- Revamped familiar enemies
- 3 new enemies
- Trinkets that aid in battle
- A new boss fight
- 15 new hats
- Blue Tickets & a shop to spend them at
- Additional bug fixes and polishing
Let us know if you have Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion and are planning to jump into this DLC next week!

Are they DLC, in game completion bonuses, or just an update? Bad choice of wording on your part.
Missed opportunity to call this DLC "Schedule B" or "Form 32A" etc.
I feel bad for anyone not committing tax fraud rn
Ok, it's apparently an update, not "DLC" in the terms that you know/are mainly standardized in modern gaming.
@Purgatorium - Can't wait for the full game to be re-released as a "Full Audit Edition."
I enjoyed the game. I would have liked some more story content or some sort of new side quest. An infinite dungeon is not going to make me pick up the game again.
I'll always read that title as "trump boy commits tax evasion", what with the orangeness and all... #sorrynotsorry 😝
Review, please, NLife.?
