It was only in May that developer Allods Team and publisher MY.GAMES unveiled Blast Brigade, though at that point it had the longer name Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread. It's a stylish run and gun that is heading to Switch along with pretty much every other platform.

As part of the current PAX East Online event the game has had an updated showcase and trailer, above - it focuses on more gameplay with Scottish cyborg-spy Galahad (he's generally quite destructive) and Shura, an agile KGB spy that can traverse areas with a hookshot.

It certainly looks like a game that could be a terrific fit on Switch, and the mechanic of swapping between four characters to move through the environment and change up combat could be a lot of fun.

The game's first release will be in early access on Steam in September, with the feedback and updates from that then feeding into the console launch later on.
