This week's big Nintendo release is Game Builder Garage - its origins, as you might already know, stem from Nintendo Labo.
In short, you make games and you can even connect a USB mouse to enhance your experience. If you are one of the many who picked the game up on release, you might have noticed there's a day one update for it.
So, what's it do? According to Nintendo, it'll make your overall experience with this new software just a little more comfortable. Here are the full patch notes, courtesy of Nintendo's official support page:
Ver. 1.0.1 (Released June 10, 2021)

If you're still on the fence about this one, why not watch or read our full review. We awarded the game seven out of ten stars and said it was a toolbox of terrifying potential.

Waiting to see what creatives can accomplish with this before I jump in. I wish you could import your own art assets but I know this is meant to inspire you to take what you learn to a real coding platform, so it's not a deal-breaker that you can't make your own games like in Dream or LBP or whatever, but it would have sweetened the deal.
If you can actually manage to download it, that is.

@SpaceboyScreams you want to see something impressive . go to YouTube and watch game xplain and watch them play A version of DOOM ETERNAL. It looks and runs amazing. I have a feeling this is only the beginning with game builder garage. I cannot wait to see what else other gamers make.
@SpaceboyScreams. oh and by the way some one on you tube drew Mario and put him in a game of GBG. And in the Japenese commercial some kid drew a shark as a space ship and made octopus monsters to shoot at
so if you are a pretty good artist you can make paper Mario looking characters and make your own game that way.
It's funny to see them try to personify different functions of programming. I made it through about 2 hours of tutorials and have free programming mode opened up. I like it so far.
If you can download it, trololol!
Can anyone actually download it I was trying to download the demo and I didn’t just get the error there was a blank game in my home page which I had to go into settings to delete
No stability? pretty cringe
@SuperSonic7670 I got a similar issue except after the error the whole thing reset and gave me the option to continue downloading. It still didn't have an icon or a name until it was completely done.
@SuperSonic7670. I down loaded the demo with no problem. I am having lots of fun.
After a few tries in updating it, I updated it. Good thing I found my USB Mouse I bought from college, years ago. My wireless mouse works my laptop, but the wired one hasn't been used in years, and now it's seeing active use thanks to Game Builder Garage.
Gonna wait and see if this gets any content updates or something. I thought about getting it but the limitations it has was putting me off.
Anybody else having trouble downloading the demo for this? I keep getting errors and can’t get the gray box off my home screen.
I’ve uploaded my first game!
