If you're looking for a racing game that's a little bit different from your simulators and the likes of Mario Kart, then keep an eye out for Hot Wheels Unleashed when it arrives on the Nintendo Switch this September.
The developer Milestone has already revealed a number of tracks and cars for this upcoming release, and now it's released a new trailer revealing the College Campus stage. Here's what you can expect, along with a video:
Set in a typical American college, the College Campus is a complex environment with a main hallway connecting three different rooms: the library, the classroom and the chemistry lab. Player can create tracks that connect different rooms using the hallway or…the ventilation shaft up there!
Two other environments have been already revealed: the dark and rusty Garage, with its underground mood, and the Skyscraper, a construction site that will test players’ fear of heights.
Another batch of vehicles have also been revealed in this trailer. They include Street Wiener, Total Disposal, Power Rocket, Skull Crusher, Tanknator, Winning Formula and Exotique.
Hot Wheels Unleashed will arrive on Nintendo Switch on 30th September. Pre-orders are available now and there are four different versions to choose from. What do you think of the new track reveal? Comment below.

When I was a young whippersnapper I did all this in my mind
personally i prefered the micro machines racing games mostly for the power ups like cannons and hammers.
This looks cool
I almost thought it is ar game lol, the environment looks stunning
It's really shocking how good this game looks.
The first footage only showed some kind of boring and dull warehouse level. Good to see, that there are more fun tracks 👍
Don't mind me, just waiting for LEGO Racing to be announced someday.
I’d prefer fun over stunning, I’d already guess this is going to be 7/10 😂
Is it just me or does the actual driving of this game look a little underwhelming? It just looks pretty generic in each trailer they show; I especially don't like the look of the drifting since it shunts your car to one side of the screen instead of keeping it centred, like they forgot to have the camera move with the car a little bit. Makes it seem it doesn't control too well from gameplay footage.
Plus the UI and general aesthetics look sorta bland and basic... sure, the game has some nice lighting and such, but it doesn't look like it has its own unique aesthetic outside of bright orange tracks in a room of some kind, which every track so far does so they all sorta blend together. Nothing seems to really "pop" with the game to me, I dunno.
It looks astonishing to me. I' d really like to play it.
Always up for a good arcade racer, Milestone have some really under-rated stuff, Gravel in particular was quite brilliant once you got past the muddy visuals. I'll be keeping an eye on this.
It actually doesn't look bad, but I'm definitely going to wait for reviews and a heavy discount.
@Pikman But 7/10 isn't a bad score...
This looks freaking awesome! As a hot wheels fan and a racing gamer, I cannot wait for this.
Will the super Mario hot wheels be included?
@Paraka The closest you'll get is that Lego Forza DLC.

@BizarreJelly28980 - Sadly, you may be speaking truth. The original titles of LEGO recently did the poorest, so more unique ones aren't going to happen anytime soon.
Hell, I'd take a port by this point, I enjoyed the PSX one quite a bit.
@Paraka I saw the racing and building ones in my local thrift store when I lived in Virginia like 8 years ago and it really interested me.
@edgedino Yeah i cant do racing games without weapons
@BizarreJelly28980 - They're pretty good for the age they were made. Obviously not up to today's standards, but solid ones no less.
The realist in me doubts that the Switch version will look quite this sparkly.
@pixelpatch agreed 100%, looks good though.. but no weapons- no play for me
I really want this to be good but I have a feeling its going to be utter gash.
@WolfyTn Its one of those thing where it looks amazing and i will definitely try it out wtih a demo. Obviously for racing game fans this might be an amazing pickup.
@gcunit I think it will. Racing games on switch normally look good
@Paraka I know this isn't an original LEGO game(and they're have been tons of previous LEGO STAR WARS games) but LEGO STAR WARS:The Skywalker SAGA is a LEGO game containing all 9 STAR WARS movies in playable LEGO form.
@Digimon24 I disagree
