Gorillas live in the jungle, stoopid!
Guerilla suggests to me- very small independent game dev teams, using unusual or subversive means to compete with larger, better funded and established developers. That's my idea of guerilla game development. I am not sure everyone on the list can be called "guerilla". Some of these games look a bit too generic imo.
I see ghostrunner, i get excited. I didn't see supergiant, but hades dlc is still on the table, what with there being 80 games being showcased
I’ll be honest. I watched most of The Guerrilla Collective last year and all I remember was them announcing Persona 4 Golden coming to Steam. I’ll try to make an effort to remember more of these games, but showing off 80 games in a weekend full of game showcases is just information overload. Only a couple of games are going to stand out, when they’re likely not going to take up anything more than 2% of the stream time.
Also, every time I see Humble Games is involved in a showcase, I hope that there’s news on Mineko’s Night Market, and every time, I’m dissappointed.
Indie games keep me going these days (along with first party releases). So many third party "AAA" games have become boring identikit rubbish I just don't really care about them anymore (apart from some guilty pleasures like Fifa).
No thanks. Go woke go broke Guerrilla Collective.
I'm psyched. Indie games is the bloodstream of the switch to me.
Sorry but when you go SJW I quit supporting.
Tinybuild hm, wonder if we can get a port of their recent published management game Startup Panic. Would totally dig that.
I don't do the woke thing.
A few nasty gits in this comments section.
Sad.
@TheFullAndy
Yup, and these are the same cucks that lambaste the over-sensitive climate our social world has devolved into. Ironic...dontcha think?!
@TheFullAndy You don't understand. Since last year Guerrilla Collective simply are now honoring criminals and drug addicts while pushing first responders like police officers, firefighters, paramedics and law-biding citizens like me under the bus.
