If you like your highly stylised pixel-art, flashy combat and a Cyberpunk aesthetic, then Moon Samurai is a title worth following. Though its release date is still 'TBC', Russia-based developer Nunchaku Games has confirmed its title is indeed heading to Nintendo Switch.
It's quite eye-catching in teaser footage, with the developers stressing that great focus has gone into the combat mechanics and action. It'll blend beat 'em up gameplay with parkour-style traversal and platforming. Take a look in the video below.
The developer is aiming for cinematic storytelling along with 'epic boss battles', with the final game offering up eight distinct levels. We reckon it looks pretty fun, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out.
We'll keep an eye out for further updates, in the meantime let us know if this is on your eShop radar.

Wow. Some game with pixel art that doesn't look like some sort of long lost NES/SNES b-side. Really stylish and looks great. Now whether or not it'll play great is another story, but it's hard to go wrong with Samurais and moons, and the like.
I'll keep an eye out, that looks pretty good so far.
Looks great! Animation has character and life to it and it looks like the game play does not interrupt the flow of actions — this can be a good or bad, but since this is focused on cinematic feel, it looks like it could be the right choice.
I really like the art style. Nice animation, too. I'll keep an eye out for this one.
